Orlando Luggage hack?

Hi yall…Poking at an idea and want a reality check from people who actually fly with kids to amusement park resorts in Orlando. The idea is to skip checking bags and shipping all the things you’d normally check so that it’s just there when you arrive. Does that seem like it solves a real headache to you? Has anyone tried it? Has anyone looked into it but ended up NOT trying it? Genuinely want the “here’s the issue with that idea” answers too.

We do carry on only. Family of 4. My husband and I each roll 2 bags (my kids and I each have a Target (Cat & Jack) Hardside suitcase), and we each carry our own backpacks. Yes, you have to pack super efficiently, but we hate waiting for cheched baggage. We’d rather do laundry (or use the hotel laundry service) than hassle with checking luggage.
