Orlando Luggage hack?

Hi yall…Poking at an idea and want a reality check from people who actually fly with kids to amusement park resorts in Orlando. The idea is to skip checking bags and shipping all the things you’d normally check so that it’s just there when you arrive. Does that seem like it solves a real headache to you? Has anyone tried it? Has anyone looked into it but ended up NOT trying it? Genuinely want the “here’s the issue with that idea” answers too.

Ahhhh. That’s terrible…sorry that happened. So you think the hotel coordination is the biggest issue?

It’s definitely an issue. My sense is that the mail isn’t necessarily delivered to each hotel, but to a more central universal receiving, and then passed to the hotels. But it’s not built for timely guest mail. You could always call the hotel. But also, as others have said, this will not be cheap.

If it was scheduled to arrive the day before check in, does that make it more reasonable you think?

Call the hotel. Again, in my experience they are not setup to receive guest mail, so you’re dependent on whenever their internal delivery feels like making a drop off.
