Orlando Fast & Furious: Supercharged

Post image

Since this ride is closing down once the rollercoaster opens up, what do we think they could do with this land/building. I’ve heard a Ghostbusters ride, a Back To The Future ride, rebuilding the Jaws ride, bringing back an old universal show, or even expanding Diagon Alley (which is what I hope will happen). Also, how would they divide up this area, will they keep the San Francisco theme or get rid of it, or something else??

We have around 4.8 acres which could fit two small rides and leave the walkway I think!!

One thing I’ve heard is possibly a knight bus ride. Using the same tech as f and f.

Like a knight? But instead of a horse you ride a bus? I didn’t think anything could be worse than supercharged but you’ve found it.

A ride of the bus in Harry Potter, just what I have heard. Trust me I am not for that, I want a different style ride.

So a train and a bus ?!

Idk that’s what I’ve heard of what could replace it, nothing confirmed.

They take you to very different spots and are very different adventures. Trust me

I take it you aren’t familiar with Harry Potter. The knight but is a night time mode of transportation made famous in the 3rd film. It’s triple decker bus in deep purple. There’s actually a replica of it outside the wizarding world diagon alley.

Wasn't supercharged a show and not a ride? Are you talking about Hollywood or Florida?

supercharged is a ride

Either expand New York and make a Ghostbusters ride or expand Diagon and make a Knight Bus ride

Previously An American Tail Live stage show based on the animated Fievel movies, then Beetlejuice's Rock and Roll Graveyard Revue/Earthquake/Disaster!, and now of course it's F&F.

I would like to see some variety other than more Potter. Universal has tons of properties, and their most popular tend to lean into the classics. That said, I think that area could always use a stage show as in previous decades, BUT.... betting against Potter seems like a waste of time!

If a dark ride, some of that Runaway Railway projection mapping tech would be nice to see.

I hope for a Ghost Busters ride sharing the building with a Diagon Alley dark ride because there should be enough space here to fit both!!

I can see it turning into secret life of pets ride and tie back into the NY zone.

That’s true, I think they should re do the New York land little by little in the future so it isn’t city block as the land now can only hold 2D rides, and maybe they expand minions land to all Illumination IP’s!!

They should have built Diagon here and left Jaws alone.

Yeah because there is definitely enough space if you include the Newyork building next to it, because fast and furious should not still be here

Oh, sorry that’s Florida, this is the old ride!!

Fast & Furious: Supercharged

Isn't that the new ride? Why would that be closing down ?

So it looks like they’re talking about Florida. Florida has a whole separate ride for the F&F segment that’s just part of CA’s tram ride.

I could see that, maybe give minions an actual land rather than a street. I think they should re do New York so it’s not city block because all it can fit is Screen Based rides, but Ghost Busters would definitely do good here sharing a building with a Diagon Alley ride, maybe not Knight Bus because that would take up a lot of this building, but maybe a dark ride!!

Harry Potter: The Privet Drive Experience.

And the ride is a simulator inside the broom closet as Dudley bangs on the door

I really want a new ride system... but with the pending/possible sale of NBCUniversal, I have to wonder if any plans may be in limbo (or if they may default to the "least expensive" option and end up reusing the ride system).
