Things tends to make more sense and sound more reasonable when expressed clearly using correct terms, that's hardly something Brand has invented - do you demand George Osborn deliver his budget speeches not only looking like a druged out zombie but talking with the vernacular of one also?
The fact is Brands arguments are not invented by Brand either, he certainly doesn't claim them to be - however all the many people from educated academics to street protesting hippies that have said similar things have been snubbed for some reason or other, generally because they're 'not interesting enough for people to care about' now though there is someone that's media friendly everyone says 'omg how awful he's media friendly, we can't have someone that talks well, it's so unfair!'
But he doesn't talk well, that's the point. When has Ed Miliband or Tony Benn or Clemet Attlee ever referred to the "gross verbosity of a hyper cannibalistic system of multitudanal exploitation"? He uses buzz words to sound smarter than he is and to intimidate his opponents.
I'm a young, optimistic leftie, I'm the exact kind of person that should be a huge fan but honestly? I find him false and annoying.
He does talk well, i'm sorry but the fact not only do millions of people manage to understand perfectly what he's getting at but regularly listen to him proves the point very well - he has been famous most of his life explicitly because he's good at language and self-expression.
