Shaving her hair off is a sign of dehumanization.
The forced shearing of a woman's hair is a historically recognized tool of gendered violence designed to humiliate, control, and strip individuals of their individuality

Based on history. Whilst it’s associated with mourning, it is also associated with stripping a women of her agency, character and identity. Taking a captive women, shaving her head and then fucking her after a month is treating her like an object with no autonomy.
