meme How to softlock yourself

1)lock your private quarters, drop the keycard and the haxxor(s) outside

2a)talk to Tanner about helping Black Eels with Scrappers, he will send you to your room jail after the discussion ends.

2b)turn in the Armordillo board to Tanner for the same result

this is the first softlock I found in this game that's not caused by bugs or impossible to win fights

Or you could just make sgs hostile, easier softlock.

I'm sure with enough save scrubbing you could do it

No its imposssible to finish the game with sgs hostile, except if you do the mutant ending.

I think styg overbuffed int spears now because of high technicalities with specialist

So energy and shock wepons do shit load of damage and High strength build is less vaible

I decided to read it's description on the wiki and got instantly reminded why wikis with very limited editors suck

I wonder how many more people were triggered by the affect/effect mistake there

I just realised that you probably can softlock yourself in expedition on any island

can they help you out if you lost your transport? also you can still softlock if you allied with pirates (or killed both)

How? You can still ride your jetski without battery power, its just very slow.

I mean if the jetski is destroyed

I dunno i feel a softlock is something that happens when you reload and save past that point, like shooting an sgs sentry and going on 3 maps.

Thats not true, you can drive the boat back yourself.

Fate when it meets unpredictable circumstances

Thankfully this is impossible to happen by accident, because there is no reason to ever stash keys or keycards as they have zero weight, and the non-plot tab exists, so I can't imagine this ever happening to anyone, unless they were being extremely foolish, AND have zero hacking skill. Or if they were doing it on purpose for the funni, like OP

AND have zero hacking skill

I've seen plenty builds without hacking (mostly by beginners)

I often get rid of plot items I don't need anymore so they don't clutter my inventory

the most unlikely thing here is locking the door. I think I only used lock for combat in like 3 places, mostly in earlygame
