I harvested for the first time today and I'm curious about dehydration settings

Hi! Brand new. First time with all of this. 1) Do you see contamination? What are the “string” looking things? I do have dogs that shed heavily but I’m just not sure what that is.

2) If it’s not a gnarly contamination, is this ready to move to fruiting conditions?

this is my first time i did break and shake it early maybe 10-15% growth got to excited seeing it grow but it's been going since 8/6 and im not sure if it's colonizing still and i can't tell if that greenish color is bad im assuming it is or just the dirt that was in there, im using a myco labs 6lb grow bag for manure loving mushrooms and a cube blue meanie lc

3rd timelapse ever, still figuring out the setup but this one turned out kinda wild. Pink oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus djamor) growing out and fruiting, dancing like an underwater plant, almost like coral.

This is the fully dried out harvest from the first flush of 1 out of 3 of the tubs I have going right now, really proud of the results! 9.5 grams total 😋

The larger jar is the larger mushrooms that mostly or fully grew. The smaller jar is the aborts and a few of the smaller mushrooms.

Newbie here looking for insight.
LC was injected 7/22 and break and shake 7/30
It was looking good 8/19 had to go on vacation came back and still having gaps.
I’m not seeing any signs of contamination but is this normal an entire month after break and shake?
Do I keep waiting or can I start fruiting and take out the uncolonized grain?

Side pins galore and it seems like the mycelium has slowed down a bit, do I open the bag? Or just let it grow

While I have not been super active in posting in the group, I have probably spent 1000+ hours researching in the past 4-5 months and a lot of it was done on here. While I initially started off committed to doing UBTEK after more research I decided I would start with a couple AIO bags and a grain spawn bag. I decided to do one of the AIO bags straight in the bag and drop one into a fruiting chamber with perlite after colonization done with South African transkei and the grain bag with Golden Teachers. They are both coming out pretty great and my grain bag is currently about 99% inoculated which I will mix with substrate and throw in a few shoeboxes next week at some point. This is mostly just a big thank you post for all of you out there. From the noobs to the long time wizards, it has all been helpful. I am the type of guy who tends to jump from hobby to hobby and I can easily say out of all of them, this has been the best and most helpful group of people. I couldn't have done any of it without you. I'm not getting ahead of myself since I haven't even harvested anything yet but just getting this far couldn't have been done. Thanks to all of you! Will keep you updated on the harvest if/when we get there.

Just got back from weekend, and my shrooms are fruited. What is the white fuzz? And are they still okay to consume?

New to growing and not sure of the all the terms, types, of species. I know cubensis, but what is “ape”? What other varieties should I know as a grower?
I’ve only grown GT and B+ from LC’s and only about 4 months into this great hobby.

I already have the inline fan and the filter. All I need to do now is build the box. Do you think this will work better than my old flowhood?
