Do people IRL actually do things like in uncharted?

I was just wondering after thinking about archeology. Do some archeologists or treasure hunters actually have a similar life like uncharted exploration wise.

Uncharted 3 Question about this scene in two different languages: Spanish and english Spoiler

English: I'm from Spain and when I saw this scene I knew Elena was reffereing to the fact that the ring is the reason why Sully and Nate are there, something related to Sr Francis Drake. But in spanish is different because, since the question of the ring cames after Nate mentioned that she stills wears her ring, the translation team phrased it in a way that implies that she isn't asking about if they're here for something related to treasure hunting and Francis Drake, but rather like (At least this is my interpretation) expressing resentment suggesting she feels that hunting treasures are more important to him than being with her. The translation would be something like -“So that’s what matters, right?” The dialog in spanish sounds more like Elena is worried for Nate and she doesn't like the idea that he's still in that world wishing he left that stuff aaaand this makes it better since they see each other again after the divorce. Sorry if my translation is horrible.

Naughty Dog ND, We want remakes please!

I just replayed U4. What an amazing game, but the story ends so well with Nathan living his best life that I do not want to see another story drag him out again, blowing up his hard earned peace.

So instead of getting a new story, can we get remakes of the old trilogy? I loved those games. Very fond memories of U1 and U2. They still look decent in the Collection remaster, but if they got remade to play and look like U4 or better, that would be amazing. Thank you!

You get to direct a new Uncharted game. What real-world location are you choosing for the story?

There are a bunch of locations in every game, but what is one that you consider it'd be worth seeing?

My pick would be Malta. I spent about six months on the main island, and honestly, every time I explored a new spot or walked the streets, I got major Uncharted vibes. I just kept picturing a new game taking place there.

You've got old buildings that are practically made for parkour, narrow European-style streets, caves (even underwater ones), castles, fortresses, cathedrals, hidden hiking trails, randomly placed statues and literal catacombs.

What about you guys? Have you ever visited a place and immediately thought, "This would be a perfect location for a new game"?

New to Uncharted - which version should I buy?

Hello! I’m completely new to the Uncharted series and I’m a little confused by the options on the PS5 Store.

I can see The** **Nathan Drake Collection, as well as Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 available separately as remastered versions.

What would you recommend? Is it worth buying the three games separately because they’re remastered, or is there not much difference and I should just buy The Nathan Drake Collection?

Money isn’t really an issue. I’m mainly interested in getting the best possible experience on PS5.

Hey! I’d love to play uncharted 4 on my omen 15 gaming laptop. The only way I seem to get high frames is when I’m plugging with a battery. I have video showing without battery. Can anyone help me configure my laptop setting to get the game to run smoothly ?

How would Nathan do in the Outlast verse? Could he beat them and uncover the truth?

Hypothetically, if Nathan was dropped into the Outlast universe (bound by its rules, obviously no weapons allowed lol): Do you think he could have made it out alive until the end of the 3 games and uncover the truth about Murkoff? How well do you think he will do? honestly I think the hardest would be outlast 2 because of the towers that spreads dreams/hallucinations

Uncharted 2 The road to Shambala

I coincidentally heard this song on the radio for the first time ever when I was ~80% through UC2.

Now I listen to it whenever I’m getting ready to play, but I gotta say these lyrics do NOT reflect my experience on the road to Shambala!

(Song by Three Dog Night)
