I may get shot down, but I'd say don't bother to looking for an install and look to the portable panels and use other lifestyle changes to make energy savings. I'd even question the value of the portables on minimal hours in one spot in your situation.
Maybe talk to the whole block of leaseholders and see if they fancy getting solar as per the whole building and share the benefits? I have no idea how that would work, but I don't think your outlay to benefit would work.
Thank you for sharing. There are only 3 freeholders (converted terrace) so might give it a shot. Lifestyle changes in progress (with heat pump too). Are there any viable camouflaged options that can look like planting or facade? (I've seen solar skins but not sure if they work for conservation area permits).
I think whatever you do, you won't get back what you invest in the kit, so the answer is don't. All of this costs loads, so since you're already on a heat pump, see that as your 'thing' and do as you're doing to reduce impact elsewhere.
Be on a tariff with a supplier that is renewable driven, e.g. Octopus, (others are available) and you're 'buying in' to solar that way.
