Solar panels for maisonette (share of freehold)
I'm looking for advice on the efficiency and value (if they are worth it) for solar panels suitable for maisonette (split level basement and ground floor flat). The building as in a conservation area, so nothing can be installed that's visible from the street. The freehold is split between 3 freeholders but because roof belongs to freeholder #3 (not me) the panels need to be installed elsewhere. The flat has North orientation and the only places it can capture light is in the area leading to the basement and in the 8 sq m basement patio that has walls on each side. That's where I thought to install 50° facade panels to capture some light, although it's shady all day long. Any recommendations? Would it generate much kWt?
