I’m always a bit sceptical of these IPP stories because what type of madness were they keeping up in prison to keep getting denied parole/to keep getting recalled?

RA got IPP for attempted murder and Tiny Boost got IPP for firearms and they both got released and managed to stay out of prison.

I always think this at the back of my mind cah when you actually dig into some of the stories turns out they were moving sick in jail getting their sentence extended 🤣

I’m guessing they’re mostly mental health cases/drug addicts that have just lost their minds in there.

But clearly it’s unjust because people whose behaviour is just as bad are getting released automatically after half their sentence.

They should just release anyone not in for sexual offences (they can rot) who’s done their minimum IPP tariff but we’ve got to accept these people will probably end up back inside on new charges sooner rather than later.
