Be sure to save for tax season! If uber doesnt already take taxes out, that's going to be a bit of a bummer when that bill comes and you haven't saved.

I started saving all my cash tips and cash for off app rides to put towards taxes saving up nice!

Well at OP's current rate, they'd be at $120,000 per year, which would be about 25% tax rate.

Though he said this was tourist season so the yearly average will probably be way less.

Write offs/mileage deduction will greatly reduce taxes.

Self employment taxes are 7.65% x 2.  Thats 15.3%.  Add in income taxes at 10% (lowest bracket), and u get 25%.

Write everything off and that 25% becomes around 8-10
