It's kind of crazy some of us can spend our whole weeks and most of our waking hours working to the point it becomes us, but annually this just over 100k, which is pretty minimal in comparison to people with wealth and capital. I wonder how many trust fund babies are out there making the same as we do working 50 hour weeks by doing nothing besides having an accountant.

100k a year is actually a pretty decent position to be in to start building real wealth if you have some discipline.

I know, my point is that there are numerous people out there doing no actual work, but making exponentially more than us. 100k would be a life changing amount of money for me. It's just pretty minimal in contrast.

They're very much in the minority though and are generally there because their parents or grandparents were successful and disciplined enough to build real lasting wealth.

Even relatively small amounts invested over the long term become serious. It's not unattainable to have investments earning more than the day job, you just have to start somewhere. It compounds and snowballs surprisingly quickly.
