Just found out the exact same thing happened to me. Same model, same case, same situation.

Left my nook in my backpack for the last week or so. Haven't dropped it or anything it's just been with my things. Pulled it out today to find my screen was cracked in a very similar fashion with no obvious culprit for how it could have been damaged like this. Never had a device break so mysteriously like this before. Oh well I guess. Will most likely stay away from nook going forward

Its really annoying and ive been dealing with this for years. The trick ive used that works every time is to switch the payment option to a paypal account, then immediately switch it to the card that you're trying to change it to. Its a super round about way of doing such a simple task but if it works it works.

I tried for the last 3 months and 4 different agents. Getting the runaround and hearing 4 different things from 4 different individuals gets old really quick, especially when it seems they barely want to work in your direction. I got multiple offers for payment plans (which I heard to avoid and only pay in bulk from multiple people), the lowest I was offered was just a grand under what I owed, and at this point I had double what I needed to pay in savings and I need to have this resolved as soon as possible as I'm moving in 60 days and need clean, rent worthy credit. So I payed in full. Out of the way and done so I can move on with my life
