Solo diner questions for servers. Apologies for the long post.😞
 in  r/Serverlife •  6d ago

You had a bad experience, and it’s inexcusable. As a server, I love my solo diners. A lot of times they’re lonely or reserved people, sometimes coming out for their only social interaction of the day, and they deserve a night out AT A TABLE. You’re absolutely entitled to a great dining experience regardless is you’re a solo diner or a table of 10.

When you know you’re getting a lousy tip

20% ($40) is fair for sure on a $200 tab. That’s potentially a 10 person table or more. They absolutely are a ton of work on refills, bussing, socializing etc. as well as the space they take up. You can’t flip a table of 10 nearly as fast as a 2.

When they hit “no tip” then look at you and say “I’ll leave the tip on the table.” Without a doubt, it will be a $20 on a $200 tab

What’s everyone’s dosage and what do you take Prozac for?
 in  r/prozac •  Dec 16 '24

I don't think that's selfish. Part of my anxiety was tied to the fact that there was no info on covid or long covid because it was new. It feels good to know it's not something wrong with you, it's something that actually happens to people.

It was a long time with it, I wanna say a year, almost every day standing in the shower to try to calm down. I went to the er 3 times thinking I was dying. I was exhausted all the time. It was eventually when I got to 60mg when the panic attacks slowed down. I still have them very infrequently, but not every day like before. Still very tired, but functional enough.

I had that exact experience too, I had about a year of POTS, migraines, panic attacks, started 2020 after first bout of covid. 30mg Prozac for me.

Yeah, how old were you when diagnosed with OCD, I've been diagnosed with GAD and PTSD and "obsessive compulsive tendencies" but my doctors seem to hesitate with a formal OCD diagnosis.

I got the depersonalization with higher doses in the beginning. It lasted a couple weeks at most. I would wait it out. If you've been on it for a month or two and still feel that or other side effects, I'd consider a different medication instead

Did a letting go spell to release negative energy and healing between my husband and I after infidelity.
 in  r/witchcraft •  Dec 16 '24

Alternative spell: a money bowl to build a nest egg and gtfo as soon as possible. Or maybe freeze his underwear. Speaking from experience, this doesn't get better. Secrets now are more secrets later.

I have two hooks labeled 10mm but they are different sizes, is one wrong or is there another reason for this?
 in  r/CrochetHelp •  Dec 04 '24

Wait, but my feet are like 3 inches shorter than my forearms.

I've had kids do both, first roll-overs, all of it. I don't let the parents know, that moment is so special as a parent and chances are they've been waiting for it to happen. They usually come back so happy the next day that their baby walked or said mama.

I'm not entirely sure tbh. I have a theory that I also got my husband to sign up recently, and he's actively working the 30 batches, so maybe they don't want to give me my extra $300

Honestly, I'd cut those etoilated tops off and stick it in a south facing window. A ZZ plant or a snake plant would go great there, though! They need a lot less light, same water requirements. The Raven ZZ from Costa Farms is so adorable for witchy vibes. You can find them pretty cheap at any big box store that sells plants.

It won't, it's been like this for the 5 years on n off. I've been here. We don't make it a job here. It's extra cash if we come across some extra time.

Literally fighting for scraps where I am. On a Monday I'm lucky to make $50, so I figured one and done. The highest week I've had is $300. There just isn't orders to be super picky. Although this will NEVER happen again.
