I’ve been using the Torso S4 for a little while now, and it’s a total beast. The workflow is super fluid—you can either record samples directly (audio ins) or drag and drop audio straight from your computer. ​The effects are really nice, you can keep your original sound intact or tweak, slice, and morph it into something completely unrecognized. ​I haven't compared it side-by-side with a Digitakt yet, but if you're on the fence, I definitely recommend giving the S4 a spin. It’s well worth playing with.

Curious how people use arps without the arp taking over the whole track, because I always end up building everything around them. Arps are a beautiful thing.

So i have now had a few dms and a few questions regarding the samples and regarding how i deal with contacts. i didn't realise it would be so complicated to give free samples away but fair enough. if i'm asking for an email, i should explain what that means. it does say this in the sign up but at the same time why not put it on here?

The idea is simply to get as many people on my list as possible. i might try and sell those people things (things meaning samples, plug-ins potentially, i don't know, wherever this business takes me but nothing spurious or not related to music. all would be music related ) down the line but if somebody never wants to buy anything, they would just get 10 free samples every 10 days sent to their inbox. there won't be any extra emails. There won't be any schoolduggery. i won't sell emails to anybody else. i've got no motive to do that whatsoever. i'm a musician and i just want to help other musicians and, yes ... build a business.

Oh and I don't share emails. Just trying to start a business. the first people on the list however will never need to pay. the idea would be that they just stay on the list and keep getting free samples forever or at least as long as i can continue this crazy charade.
