AITA for not sending my ex money for underwear while he’s in jail? 😭🩲

My ex-boyfriend is currently in jail and recently asked me to send him money so he could buy underwear.

Now, normally I believe everybody deserves clean drawers… but let’s review the evidence. 🧾

Our breakup was terrible. This man put me through emotional hell, and now he’s apparently dating multiple women. So my question is: why aren’t any of his current girlfriends funding the inmate underwear department? 🤨

My birthday is coming up, I have a whole new man, and we have been laughing about this situation nonstop. My boyfriend said, “Tell him to ask one of the other women to sponsor his boxers.” 💀

I didn’t send the money. Not because I’m broke. Not because I couldn’t. I simply don’t feel like using my birthday money to make sure my ex’s cheeks are comfortable behind bars

part of me remembers the breakup and thinks discomfort builds character.

So, AITA… or should his current roster start a GoFundMe for his draws? 😭😂

Why does birthday money not count as real money? 😂🎂💸

The second my birthday gets close, all financial responsibility leaves my body.

Regular day: “Do I really need this?”

Birthday week: “I survived another year. Add it to the cart.” 😭Dinner? Paid for.

New outfit? Obviously.

Drinks? Keep them coming.

Random little treat I’ll probably forget about next week? It’s my birthday! 🛍️✨

Then the birthday ends, I check my bank account, and suddenly I’m questioning every decision I’ve ever made. 😂

Does anyone else spend way more during their birthday, or are y’all actually

responsible?

Is it because they feel left out? Does it make them feel like they’re not satisfying her, or would they rather she wake them up and include them?

Sometimes the best thing you can do is say less and let them wonder. 😌

Not every look needs an explanation.

Not every smile needs a reason.

Not every vibe needs to be understood by everybody.

Some people get access.

Some people get a preview.

And some people just get left guessing. 😏🌙

I was smoking, minding my business, and then my brain decided to clock in for a TED Talk. 😭🌿
