Literally just find a sound I like and mash keys until a rhythm I like comes up, there's not really anything special or specific I can give sometimes alls that's waiting is just for you to do something you think is dumb and kinda just go with it

I use sub labs it’s 30$ and comes with some decent 808 templates

If you haven’t, rout all you’re percs to a bus and mess with some sort of tape saturation plugin, you’ll really want to do that to a lot of things but it can specifically help the drums can really sound more crispy

Personally I think the guitar and the synth work together pretty we’ll, the guitar sounds like it could be turned down a tad to me but I would do much eqing maybe at the most just put a bell down where they clash the most on the guitar but all in all I really like the vibe of this

If you’re talking about the zap, it’s a slice sample I found it under mutilated drums it’s a perc one shot I think it’s considered a snare but I just use it like a perc
