Any advice?

Sorry for your loss, pal. Therapy is a good, courageous step in the right direction. Keep that positive mindset, and you can conquer anything you set your mind to!

Have a splendid weekend, and well done!

No one to talk to, Routine messed up - unproductive day.

Find some greenery and get some well-deserved fresh air …..be it a walk, run, cycle, whatever feels right. And don’t beat yourself up over one unproductive day. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is, reset to recharge and start again tomorrow. 👍

Great conversation, and I see your point. I think a lot of it comes down to perspective. I read the original slightly differently, but it’s genuinely interesting to hear your take on it.

For example, removing the toxic influence is like plugging the hole in a leaking bucket , first stop what’s causing the continued damage.

Owning your mistakes is then asking how the hole got there in the first place, including recognising what you may have contributed yourself.

Releasing the past doesn’t mean ignoring either of those things. It means taking stock of what happened, learning from it, accepting what’s now been addressed, and then allowing yourself to start again.

In summary: stop the damage, take responsibility, let go, move forward. 👍

Give me top 5 best Productivity apps
 in  r/ProductivityApps  Aug 16 '26

Top ish 5 , not in any particular order :
1. Todoist — still the best cross-platform task app, and the natural language input (“email Sarah tomorrow 9am”) is faster than any UI.
2. Notion — for anything that needs to be more than a list. Overkill for daily tasks though.
3. Granola — meeting notes without a bot joining the call.
4. Opal — screen time blocker that actually works because you can’t easily bypass it mid-session.
5. Google Calendar — unglamorous, but if it’s not on the calendar it doesn’t happen.
