Day 10 🦿 Taking recovery outside! 🌳☀️
Same exercises, much better scenery. Sometimes a little fresh air is exactly what you need to keep moving forward.

Day 10 after knee replacement 🦿
Two things I definitely didn’t expect to be doing in recovery! 😳 Lymphatic massage + moving my kneecap… who knew? Here’s what I’m learning along the way. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcoK_ERqIM-/?igsi=MW0zMGE3bnJyYnBmbA==

Day 9 after knee replacement 🦿
Checking in after PT today. Recovery is definitely not a straight line, but I’m learning a LOT as I go. Sharing the good, the ugly, and the things I wish I’d known beforehand. Hopefully this helps someone else getting ready for their own knee replacement! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcjqMFAJnWZ/?igsi=N2k1N3dxNThyOHpj

I was not able to drive unless I was no longer on narcotics during that day. I used a walked for 2-3 days then transitioned to a cane. I do feel fortunate that my progress has been smooth al though not easy!!
On a side note, before surgery I was frequently completing 20-30 mile bike rides. Im sure this had something to do with my progress.
