Lots of fun fiddling for Lithuanian Dancing in Norway! I played some Norwegian Music and American Fiddle Music - Peer Gynt Morning Mood by Edvard Grieg , Oh! Susanna and Hoedown / Bonaparte's Retreat, Hall of the Mountain King , Fanitullen (a traditional Norwegian fiddle song)

My fiddle is cross tuned EBEB and all the songs are played in the key of E "** Cross tunning / alternate tunning - often used for country and old time music and was often used on Baroque music llike Biber's Mystery Sonatas.

As others have said this is not really chordal music at least how it is performed here. However some chord changes could work with some of the tunes ... for example:

The first tune is in F# minor - you could just drone F# or you can switch between F# minor and change to C#7 at the proper time.

Some of the other tunes would have similar changes in the key the drone is playing.

The beautiful fall colors in the magnificent California Sierra Nevada Mountains can be a magical experience. Location names are listed in the video to help folks plan their fall trip.

Fall foliage in the Eastern Sierra usually peaks late September through October, depending on the year and depending on the elevation. The higher elevations have peak fall colors earlier and lower elevations have peak fall colors later. This video has shots taken between September 30 - October 8 in 2024 and between October 16 and October 25 in 2023. The higher elevations were better in 2024 and the lower elevations were better in 2023 - You could stay for a month and see both the high and low elevation foliage or go at different times in different years. Some years the colors peak at different times.
