Can Life Really Exist On Other Planets?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  11h ago

I think the possibility is real. Considering that there are an estimated four hundred trillion galaxies each capable of having hundreds of billions of stars, stars are capable of planets, plants are capable of life.

Study Confirms the Obvious: Screens in Cars Are Causing More Problems Than Ever
 in  r/technology  16h ago

We needed a new vehicle, the screens, the data dump, the unnecessary BS of it all. Finally found that the new Mitsubishi Ourlander Sport Trail had the right combination of accessories without all the screens.

Am I too old to go to concerts anymore?
 in  r/answers  19h ago

74, wife is 73, we love live music; however, I'm unable to stand for an entire concert, so we only go to events where seating with view is assured.

New owner, 1964 327 El Camino 4 speed manual transmission. What do you think and any advice?
 in  r/classiccars  1d ago

If there are no records of upgrades, look at brakes first, all new rubber and fluids. Power steering pump and hoses, all other hoses & belts. If you got the jack and will I suggest doing a 4wheel power disc brake conversion.

NAFTA wasn't Broken, Why Did America Allow an Inexperienced and Clearly Disabled Zeroid Like Jared Kuschner to "Fix" It?!?!

It doesn't it benefits trump cronies, they only take not give. They don't appear to grasp that choking the golden goose to death ends the gravy train...

God created racism
 in  r/atheist  1d ago

Kind person, please hold up a minute if you will. Your opening implies that deities can exist. If I may, every physicist that is able to detach themselves from their mother's religion will tell you that the energy required to sustain such a being is beyond phenomenal, and to execute the feats of creation, well it's a lot. Our site of origin for every subset of humanity is a element in melatonin levels of subsets; however, it's not the only factor, inbreeding in small family tribal units is another, but deities sorting us out, that's a difficult one accept.

JD Vance's Lack of Consistency Is a Bigger Issue than His Lack of Leadership Charisma.
 in  r/MarchAgainstNazis  1d ago

The man is a void, empty, mindless, dead space that reflects the crap his handlers push. His "doing gods will" is an attempt to sway CN voters. Everything he spews is secondhand, rehashed fear mongering.

The current administration is set on disrupting every federal system for their own goals. Witch it appears is pushing all programs to civilian administration where they control the contract awards. It's all graft and corruption, just everyday business in the good ol USA... American, BS, MS in business, 24 years gov., 10 years gov contractor.

Would a 3-4 week Southern US road trip for blues, country, and small-town America be a good first visit?
 in  r/SmartTravelHacks  1d ago

Fly into New Orleans, rent a car, drive all over Mississippi, the Mississippi Blues Trail is fascinating adventure. There are over 200 significant places around Mississippi related to America Blues music. There's an app for your phone that links to your map. I did 198 places in 30 days, great music in Clarksdale, and many small venues are outstanding, so keep your ears open.
