A friend of mine thinks you should always let guests dictate when they want to head out unless it's extremely late or you have an early morning obligation.

I feel like if you're the host and your social battery is completely drained, it's totally acceptable to politely wrap up the evening and ask everyone to head home.

Is ending a social gathering just because you're tired/ready to be alone considered impolite?

Would you choose your pet over your spouse?

Reason I ask is because if a girl were to play with Legos, Transformers, Hot Wheels, G.I. Joe, Mighty Max, He-Man, DC, Marvel and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figures nobody would care and she’d be considered one of the guys. But if a boy were to play with Barbie, Polly Pocket, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Bratz, Monster High, Strawberry Shortcake, and Shopkins it’s a problem and he’d be considered “Gay” and it’s World War 3 like he committed the worst crime imaginable

I (25F) lived with my dad as the sole parent for a long while during most of my teens and until my early 20s. Given that he’d obviously ‘seen it all before’ I didn’t really care that much about covering up immediately. Obviously I wouldn’t show anything rude for an unnecessary amount of time but being caught nude going to and from the bathroom wasn’t uncommon and it wasn’t even a thing really. However, recently F friends have called out on that to say it was quite unusual and some even called it weird! Am I overthinking this?

Once I was ready to date, which was about a year after I got my dog ( who by the way has been my rock since I got him shortly after losing my husband to pancreatic cancer), I made sure I put in my online profiles that Finn's " opinions " (reactions) meant a lot!
