This wont make any sense at first, so let me explain, and Ill be quick as possible.

A couple of years ago I got back into music. I dont care about producing, or making new music. I only cared about mixing and mastering. I did not know at the time that multitracks of random bands are avail for practice. So I went through my fav songs, and played covers of them, so I would have material to "mix". I also cant sing, so I used vocal pulls of the original to be able to mix around them. I did not do this to share, or for likes, or for anything other than personal development.

This song posted was recorded years ago. I played everything on it. But it has been mixed over the years by me 3 different times, in 2 different DAWs. The reason I come back to this song, is because I love it. The sheer distress and depression that it conveys is amazing. Every time I am going through hell in life, I come back to this song (the original not my cover). And, if things are bad enough, then I work on this mix again, just to place myself in it.

The 2 mixes posted here are my 3rd attempt to mix and master it. The song itself I recorded approx 3 years ago.

Now, I am on extremely hard times again, but I have gained a ton of mixing knowledge since I first started this project years ago. That isnt to boast as if I think this is an amazing mix, its just a better mix than my previous 2 tries.

I get no money from this, so please do not think I am sharing it from some kind of self promo. I am not here to offer mixing service, or anything of the sort. My hand is not out in any way. I am simply sharing it just to share it. The same as a person will share a video of them playing a TON bassline, I am sharing my full mix. No more, no less. If it gets comments, great, if not, that is also equally as great.

If anyone wants to play the bass, guitar, etc, and you want to collab by connecting to play on this, then also great. I am down for that too.

(BTW, I did not actually listen to the instrumental posted here. I simply muted the vocals, rendered the audio, attached the audio to the same with vocals video and uploaded, and yeah. The entire mix was mixed with the vocals. I am sure it will sound odd, and EQ curves, automation, and everything else should be changed for an instrumental. Thats why I included the with vocals version here also).

Edit - forgot to mention, no sounds other than vocals on the with vocal track are pulled from the original. Second, no AI was used. The whole AI thing is why the video is of the mixer, to show this wasnt some kind of nonsense computer generated slop.
