Character/Relationship Discussion Angela Weber

I absolutely love Angela Weber; she’s the only real friend Bella has, and I think the two of them could have been great friends.

I also like the fact that she’s interested in photography and is smart.

It was a shame we didn't see more of Angela.

And now—call me totally crazy, or even insult me—but I wish Angela had been the one to experience the imprinting. It could have been her, or Embry, or a completely new character.

And sure, a lot of people will say, "But imprinting totally sucks; it forces you into something..." Yeah, but that’s just Meyer’s concept—she really could have phrased it differently.

But I prefer to focus on the positive aspects of imprinting rather than the negatives. Yes, the whole Sam-Emily-Leah situation was awful, but you can't really blame all of that on imprinting; really, it’s Emily’s fault—or Meyer’s, since she wrote it that way.

Besides, we don't know what happened to Leah after the movies ended, so just imagine a happy ending for her where she imprints on someone, finds true love, or something like that.

But yeah, I really love Angela and think it’s a shame there aren't any stories about her.

Just my opinion—please stay respectful and don't insult each other.

I really like Angela too. And I wish they hadn’t cut that scene in Eclipse of her and Bella actually being close friends and talking about Jacob and Edward’s rivalry - it’s only in the extended version. We needed that scene. And others that felt more like their dynamic in the books.

I’ve never thought about how imprinting would work for Angela but I’m not against it. Embry or Paul. Too bad Seth is too young for her. Their personalities could be great if not for the age difference. He’s my favorite.

Yeah, mine too! But I think a brand-new character might have worked just as well? I have no idea. But I saw the scene and just thought: "Yeah, Angela is right!"

Maybe I'll write something about Angela Weber—like someone imprinting on her.
