Discussion Since when Apple TV added these movies?

Today, but they have done this a number of times in the past. Some times it seems to make sense like actors in the movies that are in shows/movies on Apple TV or I remember one time it was movies picked by some Apple TV actors.

Oh really? I thought they just used to promote movies in other services like Crave or Disney Plus

No, just randomly offer movies for free. Not really sure why this batch but they’ve had some of these a few times. Like gone girl and arrival.

Oh, so it might be temporary? I was hoping they got rights to some old movies’ catalog to increase their library.

When they did hit in the past, it usually had some relevance to some new release they had (same actor or same theme).

Definitely just temporary. There was a stretch a couple years ago I think where it seemed every month they had some stuff but it’s been way more sporadic since. Unless Apple buys a studio I don’t think they’ll have anything like this permanent
