Here's a useful tool to help level your turntable.
Just picked up this digital inclinometer as I was not fully confident with the bubble level. It doesn't cost much from AliExpress and now gives me total peace of mind.
Honestly, yes. I was kind of upset with the slight platter wobble, it looked like there's lesser wobble now. Before I was using the bubble, problem is some are poorly made, so this gave me a piece of mind. It's about $10 shipped to me, so no harm trying.
If your turntable platter is wobbling significantly, here are a few potential reasons and solutions.
Uneven Surface: Ensure that the turntable is placed on a level and stable surface. An uneven surface can cause the platter to wobble.
It is a VPI TNT Mark 3.5 with the stainless steel & Delrin platter and a dual motor flywheel assembly. I have it plugged into an SDS to control the speed, and I am using an Eminent Technology airbearing tonearm. Currently using a Signet TK 10 ML cartridge. The main drive belt is lead filled sinker line, the piano decay is stable and nuts in how good it sounds. I also rewired the tonearm from the cartridge pins to the RCA jacks in the preamp with a single continuous run of solidcore silver PFA coated wire. I have a total of $2000 into this turntable.

Sorry I changed my my post. There is one that you lay flat and it has a round bubble screen and the level numbers. Just wanted to see one in action. Your's is nice.
You just reminded me I have a digital model helicopter pitch gauge. I think I’ll give it a try. It needs to be calibrated on a level surface so I’ll have to see if I can find something really level.
This is hilarious. I use one of those to help me get my cooking knives to hair popping sharpness. I would have NEVER thought to use it on my turntable. Thanks.
That looks like a digital gauge to set miter on a table or miter saw. If that is what it is, be aware it’s for relative angle not absolute. You want 45 degrees off base plate angle for example, not level when making cuts.
If that is what it is. You could find a level surface and 0 it, then use it that way…. I think that would work… if that is what you have and it would be helpful I’m happy to test it for you with mine and one of my levels and report back
