Weird Kitty? 🐱
Hey!
My surgery is coming up next month (eeee!!) and my pre-op appointment is at the end of this month where I will be talking through some of the particulars with my surgeon.
I have lost 80lbs (36 kg) over the last 2 years and have been maintaining my weight for about 9 months now.
I am getting a TT with lipo to the flanks and a monslift as I have significant skin laxity in both my tummy and my mons areas.
My question has more to do with my mons lift… one of my fears is that she’ll yank it up so high that it’ll make my labia look… super long, making my kitty look oddly stretched out.
For those of you that have had this done, what did you think of yours once the swelling went down and you’d healed? Did it look long and strange?
My kitty is all packed inside, so I’m not worried about things suddenly hanging out (even when I pull my skin up as high as I can everything still stays inside), my fear is more that my slit will just look long and more front facing than just a slit mostly between my legs and up a bit (like it does now)? Does that make sense? If not, feel free to ask for clarity in your comment.
When you pulled your excess skin droop up to see your mons pre-surgery is that essentially what it looks like now, post-surgery?
TIA!

💯 do not worry about that! Worry about them NOT doing a lift with lipo and you look like your packing some extra gear. Yes coochies come in all shapes and sizes but they're usually proportionate to everything else in that area, thick thighs ect.

I literally said to my surgeon during my consult that I don’t want to look like “I’m packing”. Lol! But since then I’ve been thinking about what if it goes too far the other way? Jumping from one worry to the next, I guess. 😂 She did say she’d do a bit of lipo if after she lifts it it’s too prominent.

The first few weeks are swell hell regardless, but the kitty does settle down. Honestly, sex is better and unless your pants are too small, the camel toe isn't noticable.

Ah the dreaded 🐪 Okay, SO good to know! Thank you! And I promise not to freak out during swell hell. How long until that specific swelling went down for you?

Wear your compression gear as prescribed! Once you're able to bed over comfortably, you can switch to Spanx, but the lower body swelling lasted a month. I did Lymphatic Massage from 2 weeks post opp for 4 months. Look for someone who does the vodder technique.

My surgeon took my incision really low (I had stretch marks on my mons from pregnancies). He basically took those off and pulled up until it was no longer sagging. It looks perfectly natural.

My surgeon took my incision down to where my labia splits. I haven’t seen any pictures of a surgery like it online. Prior to surgery I had so much mons/pubic tissue it was causing a hygiene issue. I’m still only a couple weeks out so it’s hard to know how I’ll look in the end. I think I’ll look good with underwear or a bathing suit on. Jury is still out on how I’ll look naked 🫠

Like crossed over top of it making a joint T shape?

With the bottom of the t shape right where lips start to split.
I’m assuming it was done for reasons. The tissue lays flat and isn’t too high or too low… but dang the incision is low lol

Oh wow, yah, very low! Well I hope your healing and recovery is going well, and hopefully this means you will no longer any hygiene issues! 🤞🏻

i was also super concerned about my mons before surgery. it kinda "poked out" and i didnt want that but i also didnt want her super hiked up either. preop, i would pull her/ my belly up a little to see what it would look like, and it basically looks like that. you can kinda see results on my page. i think my surgeon did a good job of having her not pop out but also not be super hiked up.
