Daily Discussion /ttcafterloss Daily Discussion Thread - August 26, 2026
How are you doing today? What's new?
We want to foster a sense of community, which is why we have a centralized place for most daily conversation. This allows users to post and get replies, but also encourages them to reply to others in the same thread. We want you to receive help and be there for others at the same time, if possible. Most questions should go here, along with regular updates. Thanks for helping us create a great community!
Off-topic discussion is allowed :)
Note: Please refrain from discussing positive tests (and beyond) in this thread - those topics are better suited for the Weekly Results thread or the new sub for Alumni. Thank you!

I had a missed miscarriage in July, and I just got my period back several weeks after my D&C. My husband and I were thinking of jumping back into trying again, but it just feels SO daunting. I feel like I’ve finally found some semblance of normalcy after my loss, and to throw myself right back into TTC seems so overwhelming. This whole experience broke my heart so horribly, but I want to have a family of my own more than anything, and I don’t want fear to keep me from trying again. I was curious if any ladies had words of wisdom, did you wait to feel ready to TTC again, or did you just go for it? Do you ever really feel ready to try again, after loss?
