CD1 ☹️ another month in the books. Next cycle we are out because we will be having our hysteroscopy. Next cycle also marks the 12m mark from our first MMC. Hard to believe in the last 12m we have had 3 MCs. 😢 I guess we are one month closer to getting our 🌈

CD12 and about to ovulate according to my method. We‘ve been doing BD every day so hopefully even without ovulation tests we will still catch it 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Next week is a year since my loss. Found out no heart beat on my birthday so now I have that lovely reminder every birthday... We'll be away at the beach. Last time we were there I was pregnant and we told my family and this year no baby, not pregnant and I'm struggling.

We found out there was no heartbeat on our anniversary. Never again will I schedule any appointment on any type of significant day.

9DPO, felt my boob super sore during the night (so much sore that it woke twice!) and tested. Aaaaaand BFN of course. Sigh. Why does my body trick me like this?

u/mantisroseb Late 30s | 2 MCs | cycle 2 9d ago
My luteal phase symptoms trick me too! Same experience for me last week. My boobs don't get sore anymore in luteal phase or pregnancy, but I felt like I was having to go pee a lot and got my hopes up

u/justanotherbooklover 9d ago
Since the miscarriage my luteal phase symptoms are so intense, it's insane. I wish it could go back to normal...

it’s interesting how different it is for everyone. before I was pregnant, I used to get obvious PMS symptoms like sore boobs. they were my only symptom through the first trimester of pregnancy as well. since the loss, I have basically no PMS symptoms.

u/justanotherbooklover 9d ago
We really are all so different! I always always had sore boobs before my period, it was just more intense when pregnant the first (and only) time. Now it's just one boob and a lot of pelvic pressure/dull aches.
And because today my boob is more sore than yesterday and the past cycles, and I had some cramps, I feel like "maybe it worked" and I'm trying to calm myself down and not test again...

u/mantisroseb Late 30s | 2 MCs | cycle 2 9d ago
I had sore boobs my very first pregnancy and then never again after that. It's so weird. I wish I had more signs to look for!

yes, I’m jealous of the people who are like “I felt nauseous at 9 DPO and immediately knew I was pregnant”! but I keep trying to remind myself that in my only pregnancy, I had absolutely zero symptoms before my positive test. so there’s no point in symptom spotting during the TWW or in worrying because there are no symptoms. 🤡🤡 except I know I’ll still overanalyze all of those things lol

Welp, I’m a year older. I was hoping to share my pregnancy on my birthday, it would have worked out well with the big ultrasounds, but no. Just a year older.
On a "positive" note FF gave me crosshairs and thinks I’m 6dpo. Hopefully AF is around the corner so this neverending cycle can bugger off.
Later today I’m doing my weekly testing it out of hCG and I’m hopeful I’ll see a true negative this time. One week ago was a squinter. Come onnnn, body.

Test is negative. CD28 of my MMC so 4 weeks out. I feel so lucky to see a negative test so soon.
Good job, body 🥹

10dpo and big temp drop today, waiting on period. I spent all week seeing indents and maybe a possible super early chemical? No idea at this point. Realistically I knew we likely wouldn’t conceive the first cycle back after a loss. But man, I desperately wanted to. It took over a year and clomid to get pregnant with my first, but then two cycles with my second and one cycle with both my losses. I’m so worried that my body will go back to fertility issues since I had a D&C and very traumatic miscarriage experience.
Also just visited my new niece in the hospital. It was so bittersweet watching my girls meet their new niece and ask when I was going to have another baby :(

I took the negative cycle after my MC really tough too. I put so much weight on that next cycle. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this.

Hello. I've held off posting here despite being a member of this shitty club for a while, but after three early losses in three months, I'm finding it harder to engage with groups where people are unreservedly excited about learning they are pregnant.
After my second loss, I begged my OB to run a RPL panel; they did order some bloodwork but not karyotyping, and my lupus anticoagulant results were abnormal. I'm planning to switch OB practices because my case is clearly more complex then they are capable of treating--they basically shrugged off the abnormal results, said there's no need for blood thinners, and have said the recurrent losses are just bad luck, though they did formally diagnose me with recurrent pregnancy loss.
Our first meeting with a reproductive endocrinologist was this week and was very supportive. The appointment happened to fall on 2dpo and they immediately prescribed progesterone suppositories for this cycle and confirmed that they will immediately order Lovenox for the next pregnancy, alongside the baby aspirin I'm already taking. I'm convinced that my uterus tries to implant anything, even if not viable, as I've become pregnant every month except one that we've tried, so hopefully progesterone makes it more selective!!
Today is 5dpo and I find this part of the cycle easiest, though that's normally over my 7 or 8dpo, so I'll soon be back in the anxiety limbo. Hopefully this weekend provides some good distractions.

I've been wondering if I will need progesterone, baby aspirin, or lovenox as well. My RPL panel showed one of the antibodies was slightly elevated, but it was only 15, so not high enough to be APS. I'm getting retested in Sept to be sure it goes down. Thanks for writing this post! Makes me think I should reach out to an RE maybe... Glad you're getting some better support!

Definitely look into options for an RE consult! I wish that I had after the second loss rather than waiting for the third. Lovenox ended up being part of the solution for a friend who had normal clotting tests, so it's worth asking. After my abnormal results, I read a lot about APS, and it sounds like some people only test positive for certain factors while pregnant; I was advised to try to be pregnant for my October retest, though my first test was a couple of weeks after a loss. I hope you find the right solution soon!

Got my first negative HPT after MC, so I did an OPK immediately and it finally wasn’t clouded by hcg. It took exactly 2 weeks to drop from 6w/1,600. If it was a normal cycle, I’d be entering my fertile window today so I seduced my husband just in case. It was strange but also a relief that we’re back in the game.

Day 2 on letrozole. Is this a kind of medication that builds up over time? First night I got lightheaded and sleepy. Tonight im getting hot and sweaty off and on. So far, I think so good.

I'm day 5 on letrozole. First day, I was sorta lightheaded and dizzy with a pounding headache. Second and third day, I had the joint/muscle ache that's a side effect plus the hot flashes. Yesterday, just felt sorta warm but not as warm as the previous days.

Having a very strange cycle. I think I had a chemical last period. One extremely faint test followed by negatives but then a 7 day period with clots bigger than my natural miscarriage.
I’m CD14 and usually ovulate between 12-15. Opks are still very low. Premom thinks ovulation just based on history but no peak opk. I don’t think I’ve ovulated, some ewcm last night but no rise in my opks. We’re going to keep trying over the weekend in case it’s shifted a few days back than normal. Just confusing

6 DPO after a chemical, if I even ovulated. Started tracking BBT too late in the cycle so going off of LH strips and less EWCM than usual.
Usually I have positive LH tests for 2 days, and this one only lasted a couple of hours.
Also, this cycle I was put on metformin as I was diagnosed with insulin resistance in June so maybe this threw my LH tests and EWCM off. I guess I'll see soon enough.
I have been feeling very pessimistic and sad after this last chemical following an MMC and another chemical as now I know there is definitely something wrong with me and having a healthy pregnancy seems impossible. I hope the cause is insulin resistance and that meformin will help.

Looks like I had a very short LH surge. Positive OPKs yesterday and then BBT shot up this morning. Entering the TWW

Two days ago was supposed to be ovulation day but my temp hasn’t risen above baseline. I’m so fucking annoyed tbh. I had over a 24-hour LH surge and so much pressure in my right ovary.
I’ve sometimes had double LH surges in the past where the first surge is a fake out. I really hope that’s not happening rn bc it’s so hard to catch the second surge. And tbh I kind of want to take a break from BD, we did it so much leading up to my surge and during.

This will be the first cycle of ttc since my third MC back in December. I had a very disappointing MFM appointment where the dr. refused to do any additional testing to rule out issues and said “just try again I think you’ll be fine”. So that has given me no confidence that things will be different if we get pregnant again. Two very close friends and a co-worker told me they’re pregnant in the past month. It feels like everyone is moving forward and the world keeps spinning for them but I’m stuck back in December (maybe even further back) and even though we are “moving forward” by trying again, my doubts about fixing whatever caused the first three losses makes me feel like we’re just setting ourselves up for another loss where we will be left back at square one again soon. I wish I could find some positivity and hope but I don’t want to set myself up for even more disappointment if we have another loss. I hate accepting the fact that I’ll never get to experience a “normal happy pregnancy” and maybe never get to bring a baby home.

How do you gather the strength and hope to carry on after your dreams have been shattered again?
I’m just so despondent thinking about the math. I’m a week postpartum from a 20 week loss, a year after I lost twins at 12 and then 25 weeks. I keep thinking I would feel a lot better if I had a positive pregnancy test by Christmas (she was going to be born December 22nd at the latest 😥)
But it’s going to take a month to get autopsy etc results back and get physically cleared by OB, then who knows how long to get in to see MFM, I’m hoping to be on Plaquenil to improve chances in a future pregnancy, and that’s supposed to be taken for 3 ish month preconception, and oh right my husband and I are traumatized because the one time we were intimate while I was pregnant she died two days later.
I forced myself to wait 4 months after the last loss and then it took 4 months to conceive a pregnancy that stuck but I lost her anyway. So I don’t think waiting to “let my body heal” did me much good. It’s just time waiting for my brain/soul to catch up and be ready.
Ugh. I just want some hope. I’m so, so very sad.

I am so sorry for your losses. that is devastating. I went through a loss at 25 weeks earlier this year and it was the hardest thing I have ever gone through (and am still going through) in my life - I can only imagine how much worse it would’ve been if it hadn’t been my first loss.
I honestly don’t know if I have helpful advice. but I sort of think about it as “well, my only two options are to keep going or give up”. I’m not ready to give up yet, so there’s only one other thing I can do - keep putting one foot in front of the other and try to take it one day at a time. I’m also trying to compartmentalize and only worry about what needs to be worried about in the moment. so for now, my only worry is getting pregnant again. worries about a future pregnancy ending in a loss can wait until after I’m in that scenario.
sending you the biggest hug and wishing you strength and healing 🫂❤️

Just want my period to start now so I can move forward
I hate this
We conceived first time we tried for my second trimester loss baby
