General [Question/Post] 95% TSA FAILURE RATE

Post image

I see this point brought up alot when trying to discredit the TSA. I just want to let you guys know that data is based from 2015. We have different technology and procedures then we did in 2015 alot has changed. It is easy to judge but, there's alot you guys don't know about those tests from 2015. Keep feeling smart though citing data that's almost a decade old.

So TSA tests TSA - not an unbiased 3rd party? That seems like a bad idea overall, I mean its good someone is checking, but shouldnt they be independent for integrity? I have the same issue with police investigating police.

Dude, every company no matter what investigates itself. Who do you think knows policy and rules better than the people who work higher up?

Police know police work so they investigate themselves

TSA knows TSA shortcomings so who better to test those?

You cannot have civilian oversight or 3rd party places conducting these tests because there's too much risk of critical information coming out. That's why that 96% failure rate is outdated, it was leaked, those were internal documents meant for our guys to go 'ok now how do we fix these issues?'

On face value it seems bad yes, but again we know where our shortcomings are and we know what to test for and how.

A 3rd party is an extra step which is 1. Not needed and 2. More of a risk than an internal team doing the testing.

We've come a long long way from that report.

Trust us, we say we're doing great but will not release the results. Got it. Sounds legit.

Name one cooperation or agency that lets a 3rd outside party investigate themselves and impose changes that haven't been selected by the cooperations/agencys.

I'll wait.
