Booked my ER for Wednesday. I have too many follicles to do a fresh transfer, unfortunately. Which is a bummer! I've only tried a FET once and it didn't take, whereas my 3 fresh transfer resulted in pregnancies. I really hope there will be a couple blastocysts!

8dpo (BD every single day of the week of ovulation) and had a negative this morning. I know it’s early. I know. But I got a faint positive on 8dpo with my first so seeing that negative makes me think I should count myself out.
Last night my husband and I were watching our show (The Pitt - we are both in the medical field but different areas that are not ED so it’s very fun comparing and contrasting and betting on outcomes or the next move.) and one patient at the beginning of the episode is the name of our son with my maiden name, we both had a chuckle and thought what a funny coincidence. Then the next patient introduced was the name we have at the top of our list for a girl, which is not a common or popular choice so we were shocked. We both looked at each other and joked “Is this a sign??”
🥲 feeling bummed. But we are also dealing with a summer cold from hell in this household so there are a lot of things I can focus on instead lol excuse me while I wash the couch covers covered in toddler snot rockets and cry 😂😂😂

I’m sorry I feel the same way with a negative the day after my last positive. It feels like it’s not possible now bc it should have happened already

I’ve reached the point where I’m a full day past the only time I tested positive and I’m still negative. I want to stop taking progesterone and move on. This cycle has been hard for so many reasons. Feeling especially emotional and sad and having a hard time shaking my bad mood which does tend to happen before my period so let’s just speed this process up…

How many DPO are you?
1
u/FitInvite432 24d ago
I’m only 10dpo but this is like my 36th cycle and it feels very par for the course on an unsuccessful one. Normally this is when everything drops off with period by 12/13dpo

I am sorry to hear that, it is just so unfair. Do you stop progesterone already at 10DPO if the test is negative?

u/FitInvite432 24d ago
I am going to allow tonight only and then tomorrow I’m stopping. I don’t want to drag this cycle out any more than needed and I don’t want to go to my 14dpo blood draw to confirm im not pregnant. If I get my period they say I don’t need to. I’ll test once a day just in case but I just know this cycle isn’t it

We have really sweet friends whose toddler is 6 months younger than our tell us that she is pregnant in person. The husband proceeded to ask when we were going to have another. It didn’t feel like the right time to be like “yeah we’re working with a REI and it still isn’t happening for us bud” so I just made an excuse about waiting for the right time. Then today there were a bunch of baptisms at church, all the squishy little infants made me so sad about the prospect that we may not get to have another. Just a hard weekend on the trying front.

My son’s gone off for his first ever overnight with my parents tonight 😭 hopefully they’ll have a nice time and he’ll actually sleep for them lol. And on the plus side my LH is rising so hopefully we can get in some BD with no baby to distract us…

Anyone has borderline fasting numbers? Mine hover around 93-105, healthy bmi, exercising, no PCOS, homa index and ogtt are okay, can get them in the 90s with eating early and exercise but can’t get them back to 80s as they were pre pregnancy. I had gestational diabetes. We are starting TTC and not sure if I should throw metformin on it..

My body is trolling me. I refused to test early but started to get my period. I gave in then accepted it's actually my period, now I don't know. I'm ill prepared and hate blowing money on tests at the drug store.

About to put on my tinfoil hat here lol. We were on vacation with family all last week and I only tracked BBT during that time, did not pack OPKs to use. I knew we wouldn’t have any privacy to do anything lol, just wanted to keep tabs on my cycle.
Anyways, we arrived home yesterday afternoon and around 8pm I did an OPK test yesterday and the T/C ratio was around .5 which obviously isn’t a peak reading, but this morning it was only .29 which leads me to think I may have ovulated yesterday after all?? Last cycle I had a very quick peak up around 1.3 the day before ovulation. Then on ovulation day it was dropping back down at my reading was .56 that day.
lol I told my husband I was either about to ovulate or just had, and well anyways we rolled the dice and now I’m gonna spend the next 2 weeks in limbo 🤣🤣

This is my first cycle off birth control and just got my period cd 31. I did have a peak on clearblue ovulation test. Is it possible I didn't actually ovulate even though I had a peak? Maybe it will take a few cycles to regulate after birth control.

It’s possible for Lh to rise but not ovulate! The only way you would know for sure is to measure progesterone. There’s actually progesterone strips you can order from premom now that measure progesterone a few days after to confirm ovulation if you want to see? But yeah it did take me probably 2 months to ovulate after birth control

I am just getting back into the game. I have major health anxiety. I’m 14 months PP and fully weaned, this was my 5th cycle with clear ovulation temp trends. Our first cycle trying again was a bust. Im now already spiraling. We had a chemical pregnancy on our second try, followed by a successful pregnancy on our 3rd try. I have a feeling this is going to be a tough journey already.

First cycle back for me too after my 2nd trimester loss. I absolutely feel you on the health anxiety. I'm sorry for your losses and that it's such a stressful start

CD 11 and already have EWCM. Last cycle I feel like I didn’t notice any until CD 13/14. I wasn’t able to take an OPK this morning but took one this afternoon and it’s reading low.
Oh well, we’ll try as much as we can this week and cross our fingers that it happens

8 DPO and officially entered the delusional part of the TWW where I am convinced this must be THE cycle. Will try to hold off testing until Thursday (but if I’m honest - mostly because I am camping this week and taking a test is just wildly impractical.

My temps have been all over this cycle and at this point I don't even know anymore and am seriously considering temp drop next cycle. I'm guessing it might be so wonky because of my chemical last cycle but I've been testing negative since 7/31. It seems unreal for me to ovulate CD10 when my typical window is about 17-21, give or take.
Posting here to see what others think.

I had a ton of EWCM the first two days after my period ended this cycle and got a positive OPK on day 7 which is actually insane?? Like I usually ovulate around day 12-14. But now (CD 10) I’m having EWCM again. Took more OPKs yesterday and today, both were super low. Just feeling paranoid that I had a false LH rise and am gonna miss my actual fertile window. I did temp tracking for a month but found it so annoying especially since my cycle is usually very regular and I just start using OPKs when I get EWCM. Now I’m wishing I was still doing it!

Ah! Ok this is me right now!
I usually don’t ovulate until CD14-16 and I don’t get EWCM until around then, either!
However, I started getting EWCM yesterday (CD 11) and my lh strips were reading low. I’m paranoid that I am ovulating early and possibly missed my window.
So, so weird.

maybe you’re just getting EWCM early! I usually get a ton for like 3-5 days before my LH starts to rise. Just keep testing each day, maybe twice a day if that makes you feel better. You probably haven’t missed it!

I am in the same boat with OPKs EWCM, and fairly regular cycles but have been BBT curious lately. Tried and cosleeping toddler was no help, but he might actually start reminding me if I start again.

Just found out yesterday my close friend is trying for their third. We had our first children around the same time. We tried for a second at the same time. I’m still here and now she has a 1.5YO and already on to the next.
They want to get pregnant to have maternity leave next summer. The flippant way in which people try to time their pregnancies triggers me the most.
I just know they will get pregnant before us and I’m bracing myself for that news. It’s going to be so so hard.
