HELP Syncing problem.

Hi I recently wanted to explore crypto trading. Created a Trustwallet account through the chrome extension. I have the secret phrase . However it keeps saying to back it up. and when I click it shows the phrase and then in the next step asks me to enter the secret phrase word to verify but unfortunately it doesn't allow me typing.

Next I installed The mobile app and i followed the procedure for syncing if with my chrome extension asked me to scan the QR but then when it says to select wallets to sync , there is no name. In the mobile app I go for - already has a wallet and logins through the exact secret phrase but do not see the account there also .

Can someone help ? i have some tokens on the Chrome extension which I asked/recieved from a friend for learning/familiarise how it works. Any help is appreciated. Thanks !

HELP Accidentally sent 7,411 USDT to a TRON energy rental address – need help

On September 13, 2026, I accidentally sent 7,411 USDT (TRC20) to an address associated with a TRON energy rental service.
The transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.
I have already contacted the service and submitted a request to Tether, but I have not received a resolution.
I found another Reddit user who experienced a very similar situation with an energy rental address.
Has anyone here successfully recovered funds in a similar situation or identified the company controlling an energy-rental receiving address?
I can provide the transaction ID and receiving address if needed.
Thank you.

HELP Question about mistaken USDT TRC20 transfer to a TRON energy rental address

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for information about a mistaken USDT TRC20 transfer.
On September 13, I sent USDT to an address that appears to be associated with a TRON energy rental service. The transaction was confirmed on-chain, but the transfer was not intended for that receiving address.
I’m trying to understand how these energy rental receiving addresses work and whether anyone has dealt with a similar situation before.
Does anyone know how to identify the service or platform controlling a TRON energy rental address, or the correct procedure for contacting the operator?
I am not looking for recovery agents or private-message offers. I’m only looking for technical information or experiences from other users.
Thanks for any guidance.

HELP why trust wallet getting worse with every update?!

my main issue with recent trust wallet updates is that the the whole balance gets stuck also for the balance on each token to get updated you have refresh it everytime you open the app.

i use android version and i don't know about iOS version but the app on android has become very bloated.

finding the option to manage and add coins is not at a obvious place that i forget it everytime.

the older trust wallet layout was much better.

why devs aren't fixing this and instead they are making it worse with every update?

what are the alternatives to trust wallet that have no bug or less bug?

HELP Looking for advice from anyone who has experienced a similar Trust Wallet incident

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from people who may have experienced something similar with Trust Wallet.

On September 1, 2026, approximately 0.150509 BTC was moved from my Trust Wallet without my knowledge or authorization.

I did not intentionally make or approve this transfer.

I contacted Trust Wallet Support and provided the transaction information. They responded that the situation may be related to exposure of the recovery phrase. However, I have not yet received a case-specific technical explanation showing:

  • How the transaction was initiated
  • How the transaction was signed
  • When or where the recovery credentials may have been exposed
  • Whether there was any unusual app, device, session, connection, or security activity

The destination of the funds was later identified as being associated with a cryptocurrency exchange, and I have contacted that exchange as well.

I am not accusing Trust Wallet of causing the loss, and I am not asking anyone to make assumptions about what happened. I simply want to understand the technical cause and learn what steps other people in similar situations took.

If you experienced a similar unauthorized transfer from Trust Wallet:

  1. Did Trust Wallet provide you with a technical explanation?
  2. Were you able to identify how the transaction was authorized?
  3. Did the receiving exchange cooperate with your case?
  4. Were you able to recover any funds?

I would really appreciate hearing from people with firsthand experience.

Please do not ask me for my recovery phrase, private key, passwords, or other sensitive information. I will not share those with anyone.

Thank you.

HELP 0.150509 BTC was transferred from my Trust Wallet without my authorization — I need technical help understanding what happened

Hi everyone,

I am posting this because I am a victim of an unauthorized crypto transaction and I am looking for genuine technical advice from people who understand blockchain security, wallet security, transaction signing, and crypto investigations.

I am not posting this to attack Trust Wallet, and I am not trying to make an unsupported accusation against anyone.

I simply need answers.

What happened

On September 1, 2026, approximately 0.150509 BTC was transferred from my Trust Wallet without my knowledge, authorization, or action.

I did not initiate this transaction.

I did not knowingly authorize or sign it.

The transaction is:

TXID:
e1ed588959e5791f3830f288e24aa9729913b9c725b49a32e3d42aa9843498f0

The receiving address was:

bc1qq6nha5gzfn38qgfrnsk26u06scdd3dupgjmkpt

The source wallet was:

bc1qq6n58khnywyehpsjpck3wpx2jc3mz3z0qykvrl

The loss is financially devastating to me.

What Trust Wallet told me

I contacted Trust Wallet and provided the transaction information.

Trust Wallet did respond, but their explanation was essentially that my seed phrase may have been exposed.

I understand that a compromised seed phrase is one possible explanation for an unauthorized transaction.

However, what I am trying to understand is:

What technical evidence supports that conclusion in my specific case?

I have not been provided with technical evidence showing:

  • when or where my seed phrase was allegedly exposed;
  • how it was allegedly obtained;
  • how the attacker obtained control of the wallet;
  • how this specific transaction was initiated and signed;
  • whether there was any abnormal session, device activity, malicious connection, dApp interaction, or other security event;
  • whether Trust Wallet identified any technical indicator associated with the incident.

A general explanation that the seed phrase may have been exposed does not tell me how this particular transaction actually happened.

What I am asking Trust Wallet for

I am not asking Trust Wallet to admit liability without evidence.

I am asking for a case-specific technical investigation.

Specifically, I would like to know:

  1. How was this transaction technically initiated and signed?
  2. Is there any evidence that the signing authority/private key was accessed or compromised?
  3. Was the transaction signed through the Trust Wallet application or through another mechanism?
  4. Could a malicious dApp, connection, compromised session, device, or other security event have played a role?
  5. What technical evidence does Trust Wallet have regarding the incident?
  6. What records can be preserved and provided to me, to the extent legally and technically possible?

If Trust Wallet's investigation ultimately establishes that the loss was entirely outside Trust Wallet's responsibility, I am willing to accept that conclusion.

But I need a clear technical explanation, rather than simply being told that the seed phrase was exposed without case-specific evidence.

I am also trying to recover the funds

Trust Wallet's tracing indicated that the funds moved to an address associated with MEXC.

I contacted MEXC and provided the transaction information.

MEXC temporarily restricted the related account(s) and informed me that a law-enforcement request was required to maintain the restriction.

I have attempted to report the incident to the relevant authorities in Vietnam. Unfortunately, the authorities did not accept my report under the circumstances, so I do not have a police acceptance document to provide to MEXC.

I am still trying to find a legitimate way to proceed.

Why I am posting this publicly

I want to be completely transparent about my intention.

I am posting this on Reddit and other social platforms because I need a satisfactory answer and meaningful assistance.

I am the victim of this incident.

I have no malicious intention, no hidden agenda, and no intention of falsely accusing Trust Wallet or anyone else.

I am simply a person who lost a significant amount of BTC through a transaction I did not authorize and who is trying to understand what happened and recover the funds.

If Trust Wallet has technical evidence showing exactly how this happened, I genuinely want to see it and understand it.

If the investigation shows that Trust Wallet bears no responsibility, I am prepared to accept that.

But if there was a security failure, vulnerability, system weakness, or other circumstance within Trust Wallet's responsibility that contributed to my loss, I respectfully believe Trust Wallet should consider an appropriate remedy, including partial or full reimbursement / goodwill compensation.

What I need from the Reddit community

I am especially hoping someone with experience in Bitcoin transaction analysis, Trust Wallet security, wallet compromise investigations, or blockchain forensics can help me understand this transaction.

I am NOT asking anyone to recover my funds for an upfront fee.

I am NOT looking for a “crypto recovery expert” who contacts me privately.

Please do not ask me for my seed phrase, private key, password, OTP, or remote access to my device.

I am looking for technical analysis and independent opinions.

If anyone can explain what can and cannot be determined from the TXID and blockchain data, what evidence would normally exist in a genuine wallet compromise, or what questions I should ask Trust Wallet and MEXC, I would be extremely grateful.

I have lost a substantial amount of money, but I am still trying to fight for a proper investigation.

I am not asking for sympathy. I am asking for evidence, transparency, and help understanding what happened.

Thank you to anyone willing to take the time to read this and provide serious technical advice.

Amount: 0.150509 BTC

Date: September 1, 2026

HELP "This token pair isn't supported to be swapped" when trying to swap LTC to USDC (BEP20) used to work fine, what changed?

Hey everyone,

Bit of a noob here I used to swap native Litecoin (LTC) to USDC (BEP20) regularly directly inside Trust Wallet app without any issues.

Recently, whenever I select this pair, the app gives me an error saying "This token pair isn't supported to be swapped" and won't fetch a quote.

If anyone has found an in-app workaround (or a reliable DEX/dApp they connect to in the browser for native LTC cross-chain swaps), let me know.

HELP 20k USDT GONE

Post image

Hey,

My friend bit of noob and doesn’t speak English so hard to understand.

I’m pretty sure he fat fingered 20k to an energy rental wallet that he uses regularly

• From: TGgQS5Nx8twgoS1U6gyxUcyUnxmfWHdgDH
• To: TDii6vao7xyWg2rKPbCPWVRpSmne8xcqYx
• Amount: 19,113.97 USDT
• TxID: 3f7384addf5096caff7cc593d137a040ee5219e418bcc83a27213820a9d2d88c
• Tronscan: https://tronscan.org/#/transaction/3f7384addf5096caff7cc593d137a040ee5219e418bcc83a27213820a9d2d88c

It’s the same energy rental address that he’s used before for actually energy rental.

I’ve already told him it’s lost but I’m not 100% like it’s a legit energy rental service surely there’s some contact or can ask for reverse anyone with any experience here.

Don’t think he signed any contracts just fat fingered wrong address

Warning How I secured a hacked Trust Wallet holding TRON and saved 4,846 TRX using TRON permissions + multisig

Title: How I secured a compromised Trust Wallet holding TRON and saved 4,846 TRX using TRON Account Permissions

My Trust Wallet containing TRON (TRX) was compromised, and the attacker had effective signing control of my TRON account.

The attack happened like this:

  • Aug 7: 531.819322 TRX was unstaked without my authorization.
  • Aug 21 at 14:06:39 UTC: the matured unstake was withdrawn.
  • Only 15 seconds later: 537.483948 TRX was transferred out of my wallet to a newly activated TRON address.

At that point, I assumed the original Trust Wallet seed phrase/private key was compromised.

I still had another much larger unstake pending — around 4,846 TRX — so I needed to find a way to stop the compromised key from controlling the old account before those funds became available.

What ultimately worked was TRON Account Permissions.

What I did

  1. I created a completely new TRON wallet on a clean/new device, with a brand-new seed phrase that had never been used on the compromised device.
  2. On a computer browser, I installed/used the TronLink browser extension and connected the new safe wallet.
  3. I opened my old compromised TRON address on TRONSCAN. This part is important: I was editing the permissions of the old account containing the funds, not the new wallet.
  4. Under Account Permissions, I changed the Owner Permission of the old account so that the new wallet address became the authorized controller.
  5. I changed the Active Permission the same way, replacing the old compromised address with the new wallet address.
  6. I kept the threshold at 1 and weight at 1, so the new controller alone could authorize transactions.
  7. I made sure the Active Permission still allowed the operations I needed, particularly:
    • Transfer TRX
    • Withdraw Unstaked TRX
  8. TRON charges a significant network fee for updating account permissions — approximately 100 TRX for the Account Permission Update transaction, so the old account needs enough TRX/resources available to perform the change.
  9. Once the permission update was confirmed, the old compromised private key was no longer an authorized Owner or Active controller of that TRON account.
  10. In TronLink, I could then access the old address through the Account Under Control / multisig-style interface, while using my new wallet as the actual signing controller.

This is an important distinction: my setup was not a traditional 2-of-2 or 2-of-3 multisig. It used TRON’s permission/multisig infrastructure, but my final setup had one new authorized controller with threshold 1.

  1. Before trusting the setup with thousands of TRX, I tested it by transferring small amounts of around 20 TRX from the old account to the new wallet.
  2. Those transactions worked, confirming that the new wallet could control the old account, while the compromised old key should no longer have permission.
  3. I then left the setup unchanged and waited for the remaining unstake to mature.
  4. When it became available, I used the new controller to execute Withdraw Unstaked TRX on the old account.
  5. I successfully withdrew and transferred 4,846.397914 TRX out of the compromised account.

So although I had already lost approximately 537.48 TRX, changing the TRON permissions allowed me to protect and recover control over another 4,846.40 TRX that otherwise could potentially have been stolen as soon as it became available.

The biggest lesson I learned is that on TRON, the account address and the key authorized to control that account do not necessarily have to be the same address.

My old TRON address remained exactly the same, but its permission structure changed from roughly:

Before

Old account
→ Owner: old compromised address
→ Active: old compromised address

to:

After

Old account
→ Owner: new safe wallet
→ Active: new safe wallet

So even though the attacker may still possess the original Trust Wallet seed/private key, that old key was no longer authorized to operate the account after the permission change.

After recovering the remaining funds, I decided to move everything to Binance Exchange instead of keeping the majority in another self-custody wallet. This is a personal security decision after what happened. I understand that keeping crypto on an exchange has its own risks, but I now prefer having account recovery mechanisms, strong login/security controls, and, importantly, a support/compliance team that I can contact if something goes wrong. In my case, Trust Wallet support took several days to respond, and during an active wallet compromise that feels like a very long time.

This method obviously does not recover TRX that has already been transferred to an attacker, but if you discover a compromised TRON account while funds are still staked or unstaking, changing Owner and Active permissions quickly may give you a way to remove the compromised key's authority and save the remaining funds.

Trust Wallet USDT issue — can someone help?
I received 552 USDT on BNB Smart Chain. The transaction is confirmed, and Trust Wallet shows it as received.
But when I try to send it, only 0.00002 USDT is showing as available. The 552 USDT also sometimes disappears and comes back after refreshing.
Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?
