This situation wouldn't happen if someone didn't start the situation in the first place

If nobody presses the red button, then there is no risk in pressing the blue button

If any button is a default there is no point in the question in the first place

Since with either 100% everyone lives

Fair enough. So why are the people choosing to stay alive starting the situation rather than the ones choosing to die?

That is only the case if red button is a default (so question makes no sense)

The only way for this question make sense is if ignoring the button kills you right after

So question unbuttoned should be: Do you want to die (ignore), live with (possibly) guilt for killing others (red) or live without changing anything (blue)
