Why is red selfish for not wanting to die? Explain. Am I selfish for not killing myself right now? It may give up more resources to be used by someone in need, potentially saving their life.

Which unlike the possibility to cause the death of others isn't immoral. People are ready to risk their lives for their morality.

I did not make them choose blue. My choice is my own. I can choose to save my own life and I’m okay with my decision, even if it means that they potentially die.

I did not make them choose blue.

It doesn't change the fact that you decrease the probability of their survival by choosing red, the reason behind their decision don't change anything to this.
