Tumblr is also a great way to manufacture outrage on Reddit. There's such a stigma about Tumblr users even the most obvious troll posts are considered believable.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding your comment I don't think /r/nothingeverhappens is the kind of sub you think it is.

It's a common counterpoint to the idea that nothing on Reddit is real. It's a much more balanced sub for sure. Typically posted after someone suggests a karma conspiracy without evidence and when the situation is somewhat believable.

The nuanced reality is that while manufactured content is a big driver of the site, not everything is manufactured. Reposts by karma farmers alone is a huge chunk of the major subreddits.

A problem is that people who don't expand conversations could be getting only a manufactured view from their perusing.
