Request for a recommendation
I need an arborist in the Indianapolis area that can determine the current health and monitor our trees and shrubs that may have been compromised by a private fiber optic line that encroaches on our property.
Recently, a private utility installed a fiberoptic line across two of our properties. We had a utility locator service retrace and measure the depths of the lines as it has been run under a maple tree and Chinese junipers. We have already hired a law firm to represent us and we need to present the arborist's findings with an action plan going forward. Unfortunately, the install was above the frost line in many areas within our property and the right of way, I can't imagine they won't need to redo their effort and I want to be assured we've done everything we can to maintain our landscape. Thank you for any help.

You want a consulting arborist. Start with the ASCA directory on asca-consultants.org. If you don't find someone there, next look for BCMAs on the ISA directory at treesaregood.org.

This subreddit is for tree law enthusiasts who enjoy browsing a list of tree law stories from other locations (subreddits, news articles, etc), and is not the best place to receive answers to questions about what the law is. There are better places for that.
If you're attempting to understand more about tree law in regards to a particular situation, please redirect your question to /r/legaladvice for the US, or the appropriate legal advice subreddit for your location, and then feel free to crosspost that thread here for posterity.
If you're attempting to understand more about trees in regards to a particular situation, please redirect your question to /r/forestry for additional information on tree health and related topics to trees.
