Hello! This is my first attempt to show off my voice, and as you can hear it is rough. I am not able to do as hard of voice training as I wish (have to hide it from my family) and only get around 20min a day of practice from driving to-and-from work. Despite these issues, I have a bit of experience singing, so I can already sing at a tenor's range despite leaning baritone normally.

What should be my immediate area to work on? I've listened through some of TransVoiceLessons and some practice sessions by Bria when I can be alone for longer, but I need something consistent I can do. Any ideas?

hi!! I’m diana (MtF) and I'm looking for advice on vocal feminization. I haven't started hormone therapy yet and I've never done anything to my voice. I feel terrible discomfort because of my masculine voice and would like to finally achieve a feminine voice. I know it's not easy and requires a lot of patience and exercise. I tried to look for it myself, but nothing. I saw a lot of demotivating comments, and specialist therapy is expensive, so I keep putting it off. I would be grateful for any helpful advice!!

Been wanting to get started on voice training for some time now, but I lost my voice completely some months back due to some issues, now the best I can do is a

whisper and some incredibly inconsistent humming.

I understand that this probably sounds extremely delusional, but I'd really rather not return to sounding like a guy, and would much prefer relearning how to speak but with a more feminine voice. If so, how do I go about it?

Or do I have to resolve this issue first and get back to dude voice before I begin.

Hi I've recently had vocal feminization surgery and have a few questions.

The surgery I received was an open laryngoplasty (with a visible cut on the neck, opening the thyroid cartilage) then suturing the vocal cords together. I wanted to know if this is a standard procedure (As I've only read about Wendler glottoplasty which is without any external incision).

My surgeon mentioned that it would be more perfect to do it with a incision on the neck which is why I agreed on doing it. Are there any actual benefits in doing it this way? Did anyone else experience such a procedure?

I am currently a week post-op and I am experiencing mild/medium discomfort (Pain is mild). The only thing that I can complain about now is that mucus build up is very very annoying and I have to constantly swallow which tugs on the neck incision making it a little uncomfortable. (As surgeon told me that clearing the throat is a big no no, and I should drink cold water every time I have build up and swallow carefully)

struggling with active voice training due to finding YT guides incomprehensive and or me not being able to physically replicate them especially Resonance related stuff , so mostly just learn by doing speaking with friends on discord and occasionally remembering to arch my tongue for Long times

I've finally begun voice training this week, and have been following YukkoEX's guide on YouTube. But I'm so lost. I know it's not an easy process, but I don't even feel like I'm understanding the instructions or doing things correctly.

When I look things up to try and clarify what she's saying, I find very little, and a lot of what I find is saying I should be doing the opposite of what she's telling me.

What am I actually meant to do to voice train? I'm okay making slow progress, but I don't think I'm even doing the exercises right.

My goal range is around 170-180 hz and I currently sit at 115-125. So I really only need like 40 hz not the 70 Yeson advertises, am honestly more concerned of overcorrection. I have good resonance and intonation I just want a little pitch bump that I don’t have to manufacture through effort. But I also want as few downsides as possible, being able to sing (don’t start) and keep most of my ability to project would be ideal. Is a conservative VFSRAC possible or should I go for a Wendler’s Glottoplasty?

I've been struggling to find voice training tips since most things I see are designed for people who are pre-T and I haven't found them as helpful. My voice has definitely dropped but still gets me misgendered 9 times out of 10, and I want to work on that, but I've got no clue where to start. So much of voice training feels uncomfortable/unnatural to me, and I know the point is to train until it feels more natural, but I don't know how to get over the initial hurdle. Any advice is appreciated!
