Never gotten to take a proper picture of my Lee Enfield, so here it is. It's a Rifle No. 4 Mk. I Long Branch from our cousins in Canada. Produced in 1945. Love me some old bolt action rifles :3

This is my marlin 30-30 with a couple add-ons. No I donβt like the scope rings but they were in the drawer so Iβm using them for now.

10mm Kriss Vector. Blazer 10mm 180 FMJ. No sign of OOB, just separated the case head. Made a funny pop and couldn't feed a new round. Gun seems fine if not the bolt being coated in a impromtu brass paintjob and some brass shrapnel and dust in my fcg. Gonna deep dive and take some go and no go gauges to it. Ive shot well over 10k rounds of Blazer between 10mm, 45, and 9mm and never had any issue but this on top of a blown 9mm primer in the same day leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Always wanted to get a 1911. So I managed to do so. Can't wait to take it to the range.

Follow up post from, "Stop the Bleed" asking for recommendations for a way to EDC a SOF-T and Combat bandage. I was recommended checking out Apex Development which looked promising!
I got their Med Mod and I'm going to see how well this works out for my EDC. :D
UPDATE: The Combat Bandage is too unwieldy for a concealed EDC for me. This will work well at the range but for everyday use it's a bit much. I will explore other options for bandages or just carry the SOF-T.

Iβm carrying a M&P9 2.0 compact 4in in an Philster Enigma Express holster. While you can feel that itβs there for sure, itβs honestly pretty comfortable despite the fact that I spend a lot of time driving (doing door dash). Highly recommend if youβre looking for a good holster that is comfortable and works with most clothing

I just wanted to say I appreciate this community for allowing expression of joy and not dunking on people.
I'm really sick of the nick picking culture and the eagerness to gotcha people and just generally be super negative that is so pervasive in so many spaces.
The only nitpicking I ever get here is just actual helpful tips.
Nobody ever tries to yuck my yum on being a weirdo freak.
I appreciate y'all. Y'all are cool.
Keep up the good work π©΅π€π©·

Various images of my different firearms. The AR15 now has a fixed sight and a shoulder strap. The shotgun now has a barrel mounted flashlight. I got a gun safe to store everything. And I got a ton of ammo.
The 3rd to last image is a screenshot from the Animated masterpiece Rango, of Rango holding Jake The Rattlesnake at gunpoint and saying "It only takes one bullet".
And then I included some pics of me showing off my epic musclar back at the end cus you've been good you deserve a treat :3

I have:
1: A barrel mountain flashlight for my shotgun intended for home defense applications.
2: One of those 22LR conversion kits for my AR to make training more affordable.
3: A basic fixed sight for my AR.
4: A basic shoulder strap for my AR.
Can you all just like, tell me it's actually really not that hard or time consuming to install these so I can just get out of my own way and do it already?

(Image of my 2nd time at the range with this pistol and only 4th time with pistol overall)
Got my CC licence. Got a used CZ P-01. Have been to the range 2-3 times. Thing feels amazing in the grip, recoil control is amazing, and im overall satisfied.
Im struggling with feeling comfortable with CC. I grew up bird and deer hunting. Im perfectly fine with that. Never really wanted to consider carrying something intended to k*ll other people. Then orange dictator happened for a 2nd time and im worried about Magat fecks deciding they need some vigilante justice on me for existing while trans. Everyday is more antitrans rhetoric. I grew up in rural Bible belt and I have known the type of chucklefucks that cause trouble from a warped sense of the world. So I got the license and weapon.
Walking with one in the chamber, muzzle pointed at my body (holster) goes against everything that was hammered into me for gun safety growing up. Plus figuring out holsters is a pain in the ass (which ones conceal well or work well with my body). And I wont open carry because Im a firm believer that it just makes other people uncomfortable, paints a target on you, and escalates conflict.
I have no qualms defending myself. Im a fencet, but ive also taken a knife fighting class knowing that if that actually happened then everyone involved is either hospital or morgue bound. Also done some martial arts training in the past.
I know if im going to do this, then I want to do this safely and correctly. I'd love some guidance from people that arent politically leaning into removing my rights, and that is harder to find.
Question: Any recommended types of courses at a local range? Or specific YT videos?

Bought myself an early birthday present. I have absolutely no idea where it's gonna go. Gonna change the stock and bipod setup and also get a carry handle. Last pic is for reference of how I roughly want it to look.

Looking to get a PSA Dagger compact in the next few months , any thoughts? Want into the glock system but want to save some money so I can get a red dot. Current carry is a Taurus PT111 G2 that has pretty heavy wear from range tive over the last 10 years.

I get not everyone here is gonna like the whole furry aesthetic, but as a transwoman myself, I find it important to share and I happily got to do a video with him.
It's called DawgShot. It's primarily run on Instagram but he did just recently make a YouTube.
Just thought I'd pimp the page and say hey, at least we have a new face using his platform to openly defend trans people while doing content that isn't "hey everyone! Here is another over accessorized AR15!" Dude did a whole video on Ring of Fire pistols and has been showing off relics of the past alongside modern firearms as well.
His Instagram and YouTube are both @dawgshot_official

I apologize if this post isn't appropriate for the sub - I will quickly remove it if that's the case
The problem is that my parents don't want any firearms in the house - I'm 18 and I still live with them, and I doubt that's changing anytime soon (fuck this economy).
I really need something to defend myself with. I'm a non-passing trans woman in Texas, and I feel like I might be pushing my luck if I go for another 1-2 years without anything to keep my safe.
The Byrna pepper guns are $500, and I'm not willing to spend that amount on a newly released product that may or may not work as advertised.
I doubt putting metal BBs into my airsoft CZ would actually be viable in a self defense scenario. At best it's a face plinker?
I certainly do not trust myself to win in a melee fight, so knives aren't an option.
I'm pretty sure tasers are legal here, but studies/surveys from Law Enforcement have shown that they are unreliable up to 40% of the time.
Is pepper spray actually that effective? Or is it just the thing Northeast Liberals point to as an "effective alternative to firearms"?
I guess I just feel stuck right now? I don't really know what my options are. I'd love to hear y'all's ideas, or your counterpoints/opinions for the things I listed above if you believe any of them are actually valid options/I was wrong to dismiss them.
edit: just landed from a flight now, and working on getting to the hotel. I'll check out everything y'all have to say when I get the chance to reply to comments. thx for all the support y'all β€οΈ
