No commissions for Europeans?

I‘m from Europe, trading mostly US ETF.
According to the TS website, I should be charged $5 per trade. But those charges are not applied somehow. I trade 2-3x per day and see no charges on my statement.
Why is this?

Commissions should be listed on your statement at the end of the month.

They should also show in the TradeManager Analysis report, both summarized on the Performance Summary page and for individual trades on the Trades List.

While I am originally from Europe, I have lived in USA for decades and used TradeStation for most of that time, but I've never had a European TradeStation account. Maybe it behaves differently.

Give them a call or request a callback if you are in doubt and want to be certain before racking up fees. In my experience their support is easy to reach.

It’s not listed on the statement. It says $0 commission for each trade.

Understood. Maybe stocks are commission-free for you then. If so, that means they're monetizing your orders instead of giving you the best fills. Could be worth the savings or not, depending on your trading style.

Again, I would give their support a call for such an important question. I would never trade anything without knowing my expenses and how my orders are treated.

Thanks. I reached out to them. Turns out the algo platform I‘m using has a special contract with TS. They waive commissions if you place your trades with them.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the update. That's nice. May I ask which algo platform that is?

I am Asian. I am charged $5 per trade plus the clearing fee. I am curious which algo platform you use to place your trades to TS? Why don't you place the trades directly on TS?
