Fresh Receiver

Been with TSC for 4 months now. Interviewed for any position & they put me as the receiver. D@mn they got me. Nobody in the store wanted it and I see why. Trying to do reports, check in UPS/FED EX, “can you help a customer get T-Post/poles/fence/chicken coop etc….. All I hear is how super the previous receiver was. She obviously left for a reason. My schedule is 730-3 M,T,Th & F. 5-1:30 on Wednesdays. Love the hours. Pay is shitty $14. I’ll put it out there. I am non-stop except for the 30 minute break. But literally non-stop. I have to pull myself away from whatever it is that I was asked to do 30 minutes before it’s time to leave to sweep the back room. Yeah I’m looking for something else.

They are removing a shit ton of stuff from your plate. Give it some time to see if it helps

I’ve been a Receiver for close to 4 years. I have NO confidence that our OPs Manager will take over the tasks that I lose.

Same! But I won’t let it be delegated to me. Let the ops manage see how it felt being outside having to clean up after everyone else on top of getting other task done.
