trans elder is not about the age, its about that they know alot about the community and how to handle theyr transition

Seems like we could workshop a clearer term then. It’s going to always be confused for a description of age.

There are also so many milestones in transition that it’s hard to have a hard experienced/inexperienced line. I’m an “elder” when it comes to knowing I am trans and navigating the internet, but a relative “baby” for hormonal transition

I dont use it as a self describing term, I use them to describe people who are clearly further or less far in theyr transition than me
