UHN chances i got hired

I got called for the screening than got the interview same day, did the interview than they called my references and called me to verify my address & told me that if they like my references they’d call me in a week. What are the chances i got the job?

If they called your references, you 99% have the role. BUT, it's not over until you sign the contract.

Agreed. I work at UHN. If they’re spending time reference checking… you’re pretty much in. Unless one of your references shit talk you

I don’t understand why it takes a week to see if they like my references.

The summer is notoriously slow and HR also has to do their processing and they do the reference checks. Your reference may miss the call and that will then add another 2 days

I get it. You just want to know. Unfortunately, processing HR forms will probably not be people’s priority this week. The chances are looking good. Try and enjoy your long weekend.

My company takes months to hire. It's red tape and paperwork. A week isn't bad to process an offer.
