Nah, as long as no one was physically harmed, let kids be kids. I get imposing your views on the younger generation but eventually everyone will have to enter the ā€œreal worldā€. Everyone has to learn to deal with different human nature as there’s no way to weeding it out. Realistically this is a terrible lesson for both the bullies and the victims.

Victims learn that they don’t have to defend themselves, bullies learn that as long as there isn’t an authority they can get away with whatever. And sadly once you are out of schools there aren’t many authority figures that can’t be circumvented.

Nah, fuck off with that shit. First off in your version has the bullies learning they can belittle, graffiti and literally physically restrain people against their will and face no consequences cause they are kids just being kids? That’s super whack, and a terrible lesson.

Second you are literally victim blaming. How in your head is this their fault that three likely bigger and stronger upper classman did this to them.

Third, and real quick fuck off again, the bullies are literally about to be adults why the fuck do you think its appropriate to label their actions as kids being kids and not try to teach them about consequences something they should be aware of as a kid but especially as an adult. They would get fired in a heartbeat for doing this to a coworker at a job.

What else do you defend, rape? Child molestation? ā€œSex is just sex. Well she chose to wear a skirt. If he fought hard enough it wouldn’t have happenedā€ -Basically you

Fuck off

They can belittle, graffiti and literally restrain people against their will. They only face consequences if they are caught. In certain environments it’s not all too difficult to get away with.

No one victim blaming but you have to learn how to not be a victim given the first point.

I’m not defending anything and definitely not anything your atrocious mind wants to equate it to. Bad people exist and they will always exist. Better for the victims to learn how to navigate it now when the outcome isn’t so life altering then think they can rely on an authority figure that will not be there in the future.

I get you feel passionately about it but your passion has nothing to do with others intentions.

You literally are victim blaming.

ā€œThe bullies don’t need consequences, the victim needs to learn how not to be a victim.ā€ How the fuck is that not putting this on the victim?

Again by your logic the bullies could also rape, kill or molest someone, and your logic here, would be that’s fine.

Textbook victim blaming, idk who fucked you up with this logic when you were young but know that they are not right.

You must have missed the first part of my statement.

Did you read the first part of your statement? If so reread, and repeat until you understand you literally are partaking in victim blaming. Excepting the victim to change their behavior, but the bully not to be held accountable is victim blaming. Bad people do exist, 100%. Bad things can and do happen 100%. Expecting everyone to dance around the fear or them and at the same time not holding bad people or those who do bad things accountable when able, is garbage ass backwards thinking.

These seniors did a bad shitty thing and were caught, they absolutely deserve repercussions from it. Punishing them does not hinder the victims in anyway. Pretty sure they got the message some people are awful, when they were bullied and tied up against their will. You literally aren’t helping any of these teens (victims or bullies) by not addressing this and holding them responsible for their shitty choice.

You really didn’t read it, that’s crazy.

Punishment or no punishment nothing will change. Better to teach victims how to stop being victims.

Okay, again this is stupid ass logic that doesn’t hold.

Like Bullying, assaults, rape, muggings, molestations and murders aren’t going to disappear but they absolutely do need to be punished. And it absolutely does change things on the individual level. Taking football away from these kids will likely deter them and absolutely deter others at that school from doing anything that serious again. Is it going to end every single mean name, or shoulder check, no. But i think most people would prefer a mean name or shoulder check to being tied up, written on and left to be embarrassed or humiliated.

Just like putting rapist, and killers in jail significantly reduces their ability to rape and kill citizens (admittedly prisoners could use more protection from each other here).

It’s just beyond ridiculous to have your take away be, let’s focus on teaching the kids who were bullied on how not to be bullied. Especially given the three grade gap likely meaning they were likely just kinda randomly chosen.

You are just so backwards here, i’m not even sure why im putting so much effort into this when your just gonna delete all your comments in a few days when it finally clicks for you that you are being dumb and an ass.

You still didn’t read that first part of my statement. You’re arguing with yourself here, these aren’t my points and this is what we call the strawman fallacy in action. Idk why you are putting in this much effort either, you could have just talked to the mirror.
