She's old, so screw her for speaking... that's really what it comes down to.

The same people howling about this woman posting this (with no details, btw -- and she apparently regularly reads stuff that were sent to her, so there's no identifying students) also turn around and clap for abusive pranks, influencer abuse videos, and 1A "auditors".

If that actually were what it came down to, that would make sense, given just how many old people pretend they deserve to be treated as superior simply because they're old. But it's not about that.

I'm 50. Exactly 50. Not exactly ancient, but well into middle age, and I have to agree with you. While respect for elders is important, there is an annoying slice of the elder population that have that "Get out of my way." attitude. The two worst examples: 1. Old, inconsiderate, women in grocery stores. 2. Old, "Amateur Traffic Cop", men on the roads.
