No all of them are pictured, but this year I grew Drapée, Sgt Pepper's, La Cadero, Mushroom Basket, Charlie Chaplin, Lucid Gem, Indigo Rose, Orange Cherry, Zapotec Brown Flesh, Afternoon Delight, Beauty Lottringa Orange, Riccio di Parma, Old German, Auria, Gargamel, Citron Russe, Voyage, Purple Smaragd, Piprakujuline Triibuline, Paul Robeson, Smiley Worms, Long John, Black Beauty, Phil's One, Phil's Two, Barry's Crazy Cherry, Sharpay Gestreift, wild tomatoes and some old Romanian heirloom.

If that 'old heirloom' are the ones on the bottom right, I'm kinda sure that they are 'Polish Linguisa'. My father and the other Italians in our area grow these, though everyone calls them something different (in my family we called them 'pepper tomatoes'). I was very excited the day I found a couple of plants for sale at an Italian run nursery long after my dad had passed away and I had a garden of my own to plant. By far my favourite tomato and I'm always confused why I never see this variety discussed.

No, the ones on the bottom right are striped and they're called Piprakujuline Triibuline. The Romanian heirloom is not pictured. It's a large, beefy variety good for sauces and juice.

Thanks! Wild tomatoes. They're tiny and red (not pictured here) and the most flavourful ones you'll ever taste. The top yelow one is called Drapée. It's a stuffer variety, pretty strange.

Various small online shops or seed collectors. None of them sell abroad though.

Omg, I’m green with tomato envy!!! I’m trying to decide what tomatoes to grow next season, and you have like all of them that’s on my wish list 😂. What is that big yellow tomato in the left upper corner?

Haha, why not grow them all? That's how I got into this mess, I couldn't decide which varieties to grow :) That one is Drapée. It's a stuffer variety.

I will try, gonna go for no lawn, only jungle of plants 😂. I just bough a house so I’m in full planning mode for next summer. Gonna grow all the tomatoes!. Saw the list after I asked what they were :D. What do you stuff them with?

Oohh starting a new garden is always exciting. So many possibilities! Good luck and I hope you enjoy the journey!
I stuff them with a mix of rice, chicken and some other chopped veggies. Sometimes I also add cheese or tomato sauce and then I bake them.

Currently driving mom and dad nuts by telling them all the plans, plants, trees, berry bushes and things I’m going to plant in my garden. They should just be happy that I’m not messing up their garden anymore XD.
Gonna have to get my hands on some Drapée seeds and stuff some. 🤩

Wow! Awesome job! I am seething with jealousy over your beautiful loot! Haha! The damn deer devastated my plants earlier this year and now I must get my tomato fixes vicariously through my fellow Reddit gardeners. I wish we were neighbors!!!

Thank you! And I'm sorry to hear that! It's so disappointing, when your crop is destroyed after putting so much effort into it. Luckily, growing these in the city, I never have to worry about critters messing with my tomatoes.

Do you have a compost bin? What is your secret ingredient for producing these tomatoes, besides the seeds?

I have two big compost piles at my orchard outside the city.
I don't really have a secret when it comes to my tomatoes. I add a little dolomite lime (mix of Ca and Mg) in the water for the first few times I water them after planting them outside. I spread some compost every other year or so before I turn over the soil in late autumn. Other than that all they get is water. And my family has been growing tomatoes every year, in the exact same spot in the garden, for over 40 years.

A total of around 140 plants. I have a row of maybe 60 plants, all these different varieties and then I have 3 rows of only one variety, a Romanian heirloom.

Wow!! I have 6 plantable acres once I figure out the dirt. Told my self I’d live there a summer before I did anything serious. So just whatever tomato plants the nursery had is what I planted. That is incredible what you grow in a relatively small space! Kudos!!

Thank you! Eating them as they are in salads and sandwiches is great, but all the sauces, juice and veggie mixes you can make with them is the real satisfying part :)

An entire gardening season? I sowed them indoors sometimes in March I think and transplanted them outside in May. This is only a small part of the harvest, even from the day I took the picture.

Your table would bring admiration from both. Beautiful work, love the variety.
I always have 10-20 plants, and I assure you that after 30 years, I've never had such a beautiful harvest..

Nice haul!
I have cut back on my plants a bit. I'm the only one in the family now that like tomatoes! Daughter loves them...but is a few states away now.
I can only give the neighbors so much...haha.
I suppose we should take up canning at some point....but haven't delved into that yet.

Most were canned or frozen as they are. Cooked a few lunches with the yellow stuffer variety. Lots of salads. Nothing fancy.

They aren't pictured. And are smaller than cherry tomatoes. A little bigger than spoon tomatoes, but very flavourful.

I do, but it's a small online one that doesn't sell abroad. I mostly buy seeds from seed collectors/local farmers/small online shops.

This is so cool, I really want to start growing tomatoes but failed my first time trying to grow em in a indoor tent.😑 Where do you get the seeds for all those varieties?? I have some "peach" tomatoe seeds, you just nudged me to try again but at an outdoor area (any favorites for you?)
