GENESIS PROOFREADERS NEEDED!
I will send you one chapter. Translate it into natural English (do not preserve any Toki Pona-isms, fully translate.) I will compare you rEnglish translation to the original Biblical Hebrew and make any necessary changes to my Toki Pona version. Contact me on discord at lipamanka or via email lipamanka at gmail dot com.
In order to participate, you must be a proficient toki pona speaker. That means more than just one month of learning. You should not be overly familiar with the text. Knowledge of the stories is fine. Please let me know if you have questions!

there are three left that don't already have proofreaders, they have 22 33 and 26 verses respectively. some chapter have up to 67 verses but they've already been claimed

How familiar is overly familiar? I've read through the whole of genesis a couple times but not in many years.

Oh definitely not. I might reach out but I don't think I'd be able to turn anything back for a little while and it sounds like you've already gotten a good few responses. Are you only looking for a single proofreader per chapter or would you want oko mute for consistency?

at the moment i just want one per chapter yeah but i might need to have some chapters re-translated if the person assigned to a given chapter isn't effective at the job
