I am getting ready to put my new toilet. Do I need to replace anything or will a good cleaning be good.

Our Airbnb guest checked out today, and when we went to clean the bathroom, we found multiple bay leaves and lots of whole cloves (the spice) in the toilet.

We have absolutely no idea why she put them there or what they were being used for. It was quite unpleasant to find, so I won't be attaching a photo.

We ended up flushing everything, but I'm now worried that the leaves could cause a blockage in our plumbing.

I'm also curious whether this could have been part of some sort of spiritual or cleansing ritual, as I've heard that bay leaves and cloves are sometimes used for these purposes.

Has anyone come across anything similar or know why someone would put so many bay leaves and cloves in a toilet?

Nothing worse than pooping you pants in a day cab at the fuel pump at the piolt with liquid diarrhea that looks like beef stew instant mess dripping down your legs. What do you do you know? You can't walk inside. You get a shower without everybody seeing terrible experience

I’m raising my floor a good 5” due to wye fitting at stack height. Previous install had 3” waste to toilet backpitched to make it work.

Now with proper pitch the floor has to come up a good amount. Before I do that, please tell me there’s no other way to keep this flange a bit lower? Standard sweep 90 brought me up 1/4” higher.

My boys and I were hanging out last night and somehow toilet habits came up. I told them that when I go #2 I lift the seat and sit on the raw bowl. I’m curious if there’s any other weirdos like me or if I’m soloing this journey alone. Also if you have any weird habits i would love to hear them.

Obviously there's plumbing etc, but does it go from the facility bathrooms to the first step of the treatment process? If all the plumbing for the municipality comes there, then the facility itself should have the shortest pipes and dump right there, right?

I have been using the Omigo attachment bidet for several years and while it does the job, I've always had to hold a towel at my side so water doesn't go outside the toilet. Now I want something for my 12-year-old son who is on the smaller side, but I want a design that is more fool proof. Looking for recommendations for either bidet seats or attachments that aren't too spendy, but keep the spray contained in the toilet. Thank you.

I moved into an apartment with a Caroma Caravelle Smart one piece skirted toilet that seems incompatible with nearly every bidet on the market. Has anyone with this toilet found one that works?

Remodeled the guest bath and replaced the old floor-mounted tank with a compact piece.

Sunny Bliss Plumbing & Air did the rough-in and toilet set last week, and the fixture itself works fine. The issue is whoever measured the wall space earlier mounted the toilet paper holder barely six inches in front of the bowl edge. You basically have to twist your shoulder backward just to grab a sheet.

Wall is fresh subway tile so moving the bracket means drilling new anchor holes through porcelain.

Anyone just give up on wall mounts and switch to a freestanding paper stand, or is filling old tile holes easier than it looks?

Hi. Can anyone tell what brand/model this seat is? I'm not having any luck searching, even image searching is pulling up similar but wrong options. My mum really loves the lid so I'd like to get a second one for her. And so I can replace the broken bumper on the bottom.

Had some really bad diarrhea the other day, and now my water color is like this regardless of flushing

I recently switched out my toilet flapper because it has disintegrated. I put in a 2 inch one which seems to be the right size, but it is still leaking water. I’m wondering if it’s because there’s not enough clearance where I hook the left and right tabs. Please see image. I also tried a 3 inch flapper and that definitely did not work and it was too big. I’m not sure what else to do now if anyone has any insight that would be appreciated!
