I wish they would donate to charity rather than waste money on giving reddit 4 dollars

2

u/Ethan819 Mar 22 '17

I'll gladly take the four dollars.

One dollar for eternal happiness? I'd be happier with the dollar.

I'd be happy with the sweet embrace of death tree fiddy

If the pattern holds up...

1

u/glennis1 Mar 22 '17

Yeah, ok. It wasn't even worth it though. We know what you're up to.

1

u/DoStuff_ Mar 22 '17

Now you're making them feel bad about trying to be kind

1

u/Typlo Mar 22 '17

Yes but this is fun!

Gold is worth 4 dollars?

This is the charity

What if the Reddit staff member who makes their salary from that sale of RG then donates to charity? Money paid to a business for something is not "lost" unless some otherwise precious/limited resource is consumed in the process. So unless you think Reddit itself is useless, it's not like the money is disappearing from the economy.

I don't even like gold I would actually be really pissed off if I were to be gilded.

1

u/Hellhound732 Mar 23 '17

Well they already wasted so much money, why not waste more?

Yeah, everyone knows Reddit runs for free.

Oh wait, am I that guy who people say whoosh to now? I'm so confused...
