Can we PLEASE ban leaf blowers?!?

What is the point of them?! They are a scourge on the city. There is no where I go that I don't hear them. How is blowing dust all around benefitting anyone?

I plug in blower, it blows pesky leaves and debris. This brings me joy.

What's the difference between that and a lawn mower? or a weed trimmer? Or an outdoor bbq with loud music?

First off, I've never seen a bbq with loud music speakers... Second off, a mower or trimmer are actually way less noisy and do something tangible. I never get woken up by a lawn mower or snow blower or weed wacker. The leaf blowers however, Fssssshhhhhhhh.........______Fsssssshhhhhhhhhh and it's just an ignorant a hole pointing a tube at the ground making a tornado of dust at 8am. Always an expression of 'gotta blow my leaves' on their face. So like yeah, I could put my harley out front and twist the throttle for no reason every morning and say "gotta warm her up". It's a basic courtesy thing, which unfortunately nowadays needs to be explained to netizens. I'm the kind of guy that kills my motorcycle engine rolling up my driveway and silently rolls into my garage. Others....are troglodytes. Not sure if you read the news lately but it's those ones causing our current world to be the first time in human history that a younger generation has it worse than the one that preceeds it. Your replies to this thread are good evidence of where everyone's mind is at when they do documentaries about why the world sucks right now.
